THIS CABLE IS DANGEROUS I ONLY NARROWLY AVOIDED A FIRE _ --- I plugged it into my USB on my laptop I did not realize that it was burning until I saw the Hot Glue used to put the Cable together melting!! out of the socket ... Do not buy this Avoid it is a dangerous Fire risk

Check settings before you use!
This didn't work using the port settings in the APC guidance, but it works if you lower the port speed.

This worked like a charm to get me into a APC PDU 7920 via PuTTY. Windows 10 Pro (20H2) did not automatically find the driver via Windows Update but the link in the product description took me to exactly what I needed. It took less than a minute to download and install the driver, change the COM port to 3 in PuTTy and I was able to access the PDU interface to factory reset it and set a static IP. Highly recommended if you want a RJ11 to USB cable and do not want to use a serial to USB converter (many of these have issues due to the pin configuration that the APC units use).

I got this to update the firmware on an older APC PDU and it worked as intended. I didn't even need to add any kind of driver on my Lenovo T450 - it just worked.
