The grate was a good fit. It is almost as heavy as the cast iron one. That said, it is very easy to clean after using it. It also will not rust like the other one did. I would recommend it.

Great upgrade for My Q ! Those enameled racks deteriorate quickly with high heat, Not These! Stainless is the way to Go!

I waited to do this review until I had fully put the stainless grill grate through all my different cooking methods (burgers, whole chicken, sausages, pork chops, cooking with my cast iron skillet, and indirect cooking). I bought it because I was never satisfied with the cast iron grate. I had another Weber Q many years ago which had a chrome-plated steel grate which I preferred, but it's no longer available. Pros: The grill heats up REALLY fast which saves on fuel and time. Easy to clean (it does discolor). It allows the use of my small cast iron skillet because it transfers heat much faster. The grill recovers heat faster after opening the lid and allows it to maintain a hot temperature even with a 15 mph wind. Lighter weight. Solid construction. Cons: Wider grate openings, but it did not cause any problems with burgers. A great buy and highly recommended.

The original cast grate was deteriorated and basically falling apart. This fit perfect and was a great replacement compared to alternatives. The stainless steel design should last much longer. So far very satisfied.

Why they made it two pieces is ridiculous. It’s not level and the little piece you sit on gets lost all the time when you clean it wish I wouldn’t have bought it.

The unit came and was a good replacement. Happy with it.

Used on the Weber 200 series. Had to do a little modification to join the two parts together so it didn't sag in the middle. Should buy the joiners when purchasing theses grills. Overall will last a season of BBQing.

Had to cut the grates where they met in the middle of the bbq. Just slightly too long to sit level. Otherwise good. Stainless cleans way easier that the original cast iron grates.
