It makes it easy to clean the nozzle and the interior passages of the sprayer. The tube will require a little bit of pressure to fit into the sprayer, but that's no big problem.

I got this for the Finish Max sprayer, which I guess because of the wider straw opening, requires an included white straw that replaces the wider one used for spraying. Apparently the smaller guns don't need this piece and the hose can attach directly to the existing straw. Well, the straw included for the cleanup kit to be used with the Finish Max only sits loosely in the hole. At the first sign of any water at all, it pops out of place and gets you and everything else wet. When you turn up the water, even if you're valiantly attempting to hold the straw in place, water is shooting out of the tiny gaps created by the loose fit, causing high speed streams of water to shoot back at you. The connector for the hose or sink has a pass-through design, so any water not diverted to the gun goes back into the sink, presumably so you can wash other parts while running water through the gun. It's a great idea, except guess what happens if you're using a hose instead of a sink? That spray shoots out in all random directions soaking everything around you. There's no valve to turn off the water coming through that end. This kit desperately needs a properly fitting straw, and a hose/faucet connector that has the option to turn off the pass-through side.

I worked through a big remodel job, and leaned on the Finish Max for all the trim and doors. I ordered this cleaning kit at the same time I ordered the gun, so I didn't really know what to expect. Technically, you can clean the gun without it, but this makes if far easier and gets the gun cleaner. I hooked it up to my utility sink and used it to force hot water through the nozzle. Makes the job easy. Honestly, when you look at what you get, you'll probably scratch your head at the price. Hard to see $10 here. But it's worth it.

This sprayer is great! Having never used a sprayer before, I was hesitant...but after one use I am planning several paint projects. I stained my outdoor fencing--over 220 feet of 6' tall wood fenced-in under 3 hours. The cleanup was easy too-- actually, easier than cleaning brushes. The ONLY downside is the frequent refilling of the paint cup, but that is completely outweighed by the ease and speed of using this sprayer...plus, I avoided the strain of using a brush or roller. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Makes it easy to clean my Homeright Finish Max Paint Sprayer. I just attach it to the hose outside and let the water run through sprayer to clean it out. It's super easy to connect, and it's small enough that it stores away easily. I myself rely heavily on reviews when it comes to deciding whether or not I’m going to purchase something, so my reviews are completely honest. Si es un buen producto y ayuda reducir el tiempo en limpiar el equipo. Y como debes limpiar el equipo después de cada uso, que mejor que ahorrar tiempo. Es fácil se ocupar y práctico.

Ya tenía la pistola para pintar, las boquillas y ahora con este kit de limpieza completo el paquete, se ve resistente y de gran ayuda para la limpieza. Seguramente más adelante actualizaré la reseña.

Good seller, I would deal with them again

Some folks saying this is sloppy and doesn't do a great job. I didn't have any problems with it (once i realized where to aim the hose end) and it did a great job.
