BlongoBall Replacement Balls

I bought the steel version of this game because I felt it would withstand windy weather conditions and last longer. It has definitely proved that -- and more. It is a cinch to set up, so it gets used often. Even physically-challenged children can play successfully. It is a great icebreaker. It was a lot of trouble to keep the scores in our heads, so I ordered the Five Footer Scoreboard from Amazon. I also ordered enough balls so that each player could choose his color. The colors of the balls that come with the game are orange and yellow (although the orange looks red in the photo). I really like the Blong Ball Pro Series Game Set. The carrying case is also sturdy and handy.

I bought the "Blongo Family Fun BB-2RE BlongoBall Accessory Pack (Red)" expecting to receive a set of the hard/golf balls like the ones that came with the original Blongoball set. This set is soft/indoor balls which is frustrating since nothing in the Amazon description indicates that these balls are soft. We decided to keep them instead of going through the hassle of a return. They seem to work OK.We also bought a set of the blue balls and they are the original golf ball type.

Blongo Ball (a ladder-golf game) is amazing fun for all age groups. However the original equipment (think golf balls on a string) is NOT good for indoor play. It also is not all that good for the third-grade-and-under crowd. However, all ages can safely play Blongo-Ball - indoors or out - with the "indoor" balls. Indoor balls are hard rubber and therefore are not as likely to dent or otherwise damage little noggins or other important surfaces! I have purchase many blongo balls in different colors. The last batch I received had a couple that were rubber balls instead of the golf ball. So they bounce really high when we are playin ladder golf. Some feel this is a disadvantage to them playing with the heavier golf ball type. Why was there a difference in some of these balls? Why are they all not the same material?Thank you.

These balls are the same that come in the set, they're hard golf balls - not foam as some other reviews said. Another reviewer mentioned that she thought the hard balls had the logo on a black oval and the soft ones have the logo without the black oval. I listened to that advice and it seemed to work for me!

Great game so I ordered a new set of balls so my son who lives in Japan could take a set back to Japan with him.

I am disappointed that the balls are not really purple. On the Blongo website they are pictured as VERY purple. The ones I received are not really purple.

Great replacement balls for our Blongo Ball game! We've used it quite a few times and the quality of the balls/string is very good!
