I like to leave it under the water tap with hot water while I shower. Stays hot while I shave. The ridges on the bowl really do help to create lather. It hold well in the hand and you can rest the brush on the handle. You can't go wrong with this shaving Bowl. It was truly designed from the ground up for a perfect shaving experience.

Great bowl

This is the perfect size, the height and width are perfect. I had the crown king scuttle, and although it makes a hot lather it is awkwardly shallow and narrow.

Most shaving bowls (esp the Asian ones) do not have handles. They may have some concession for a thumb, perhaps a notch. So, if you like handles, this bowl is very nice! The ribbing contributes to creating froth, of course. If you are looking for *lots* of ribbing, consider the Linkidea bowl, but it lacks a handle.

Perfect size for my shave brush

Overpriced. Was able to use it for one shave. Bowl chipped when it was bumped into the tile around my sink.

The design of the bowl is really beautiful, it is well built and convenient to use.The most important thing is that it does the job very well.
