The bag has several pockets on the outside that hold so much and get everything organized. There is a zippered pocket inside along with pockets for sunglasses and your cell phone. There is plenty of room inside for my iPad, purse, book, snacks, etc. It also has room for any breakable purchases that I may make. I don't use the shoulder strap as it is heavy and using it is hard on my shoulders. The handles fit over my shoulder nicely making the bag so easy to carry. It fits perfectly under the airline seat in front of you, eliminating the worry of getting overhead space. Mostly, the only ones with white lining are the very light spring/summer type colors. **Q: Strap lenght** A: You can use the short straps over the shoulder, or you can use the long strap to hand low or across the body. The long strap has adjustable length. When I pull the short straps straight and measure, the arc is about 11 inches out from the body of the bag. The second of this style. (One of my other two was the same size, but only had the crossbody strap. The other was smaller so I could use it while traveling and didn’t need to carry around a lot of things.) I love that it has the short handles as well as the crossbody strap. They hold up like iron and can be washed in the machine. It has plenty of space and pockets for carrying everything you need. I do a lot of traveling and this bag has gone around the world holding everything needed while on the go. I use it as an everyday bag as well.
