From 3 months to 1 1/2 yrs old they have been on Dr Harvey’s. My budgies love it, they are very healthy and handsome. I do mix in zupreem sometimes for variety and they also get Harrison’s fine pellets. Value? Well yeah, pricey! But to me it’s the best and I want the best. I keep bag in fridge, and just keep a few days supply in a container for feeding. Sometimes I get it it straight from Dr Harvey’s website.

The only parakeet food I feed my Rosey Bourkes. They love it and the quality is among the best. If not the best. I depend on Dr. Harvey’s food for all my animals. They live long and healthy lives.

My birds love this. Will purchase again but I wish it came in a larger size as I have 6 budgies. It's expensive but the quality is good.

Extremely happy that I chose this brand of seed to feed my two parakeets with. However I've noticed that they don't eat one type of the seed in the mix, but that's ok. They have so much energy after consuming this blend. They literally chirp in the morning for me to get up and give them more! Even after eating the stock I put in the night before! I also love how this food is all natural (no preservatives,dyes,chemicals,synthetics) and it has chunks of fruit and veggies in it. You can smell the healthiness which I read before buying and thought what a crock! I was speechless after receiving it. However I give it 4 stars because it is a little pricey if you have more than 2 budgies. Overall, if you want high quality bird seed, this is it. It lasts my birds roughly 2 months giving them extra sometimes along with they're fave, fresh broccoli and apples mixed with a tiny bit of seed. 13 dollars a month is not bad! Couldn't get cheaper to have healthy babies :) also, it's good to store in the fridge! Although store some seed in a cleaned seasoning bottle to keep near their cage because feeding cold seed can be bad, so I've heard. Anyways, overall great brand, great quality, and ok price.

The new recipe does not include raisins which is wonderful! I was always concerned my dogs would eat the dropped ones….

Very healthy choice for my birds. They love that it has fruits, vegetables and nuts in it. They love eating this along with some fresh vegetables. I will be buying more of this when we run low.
