It makes puddles
My new puddle maker was ordered from Amazon on 7/22/21 and it was delivered my home in the Akron, OH area on 8/10/21. The unit is causing substantial puddles of water to form on my (real) oak kitchen floor (see pic). This goes on all day long (because it's been rather humid, I think) and requires constant mopping up of the puddles so that the floor doesn't get ruined. I suspect the puddles are a result of condensation on the inside of the front freezer drawers and/or refrigerator doors because I see none on the outside of the front or sides of the unit and the pan for the radiator in the back is completely dry (see pic) and also because the puddles form only under the front section of the unit (see pic). We don't use the automatic ice maker nor do we have it hooked up to a water supply. The 'heated beam' on this unit is not warm to the touch at all. The sticker on it indicates it should be (see pic). We have a very similar unit to this one in our sunroom where it's much more humid than in our kitchen, but it's made by LG and it's heated beam is warm to the touch and it does not make puddles. Therefore, I believe that this heated beam issue may be related to the puddling condensation problem because as far as I could determine by searching online, there are heat sources inside these units that are supposed to warm the metal surfaces a little bit in order to eliminate issues with excessive condensation forming on them, and I believe that the heated beam is part of that warming system which is probably not working correctly in my unit. I mentioned the heated beam matter to Cosmo support person be he didn't really seem equipped to actually troubleshoot anything at all. After jumping through some reasonable hoops to prove that I really bought the unit recently, what he told me (pasted below) was that it could take a few weeks to get a tech out to take a look-see. Based on that level of customer non-service, and that I'm still inside the return window, I will probably just return it to Amazon and let them deal with it. What sucks most about this for me is that Amazon doesn't install or remove the unit from inside the house. Their shipper just drops off/picks up to the property (i.e. driveway/garage). That means my son and I, who had to struggle this behemoth into the house, will now have to do the same in reverse and also box it all back up. Other than the puddling issue, the unit is pretty nice looking and it otherwise seemed to work just fine. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Below is the bits that matter to me from the response from Cosmo: "...The current wait time is estimated to be up to 2-3 weeks for our warranty dispatch team to locate a service center near you, although in most cases it does not take that long. The reason for this period is that we do not work with any service center in particular and one must be located for your claim. Once a technician is assigned to your claim, an automated email will be sent to you notifying you of the assigned service center and they will reach out to you directly to schedule a service call. ..."

So Far So Good
Day one, love the look! Will follow up after we have it for a few months. We had a Whirlpool that broke down right after the Warranty expired. We have ben let down by multiple more expensive brands. Looking forward to seeing how the Cosmo preforms.

Avoid Cosmo and their terrible Warranty service
This fridge is poorly designed. It started leaking water on my floor in less than two weeks of ownership. It took over 5 months for the first repair attempt to be made after numerous parts delays and cancelations. The ongoing leaking caused damage and mold on my floor beneath the fridge, which Cosmo will not take responsibility for either. A second company came out and discovered the Styrofoam in the fridge melted due to the part being too closer to the heater. The melted Styrofoam got stuck in the drain hose which blocked the water from properly draining. After that was removed, the fridge started groaning loudly. After more than a month of me submitting videos of my groaning fridge Cosmo customer service finally responded stating the fridge is functioning as designed. I think they are hoping the Warranty expires before the compressor fails. They refuse to replace the fridge per their Warranty which states it is possible "at their sole discretion". Customer support made it clear that never happens and even seemed to laugh when I asked about replacing it. Save yourself a lot of pain and suffering and avoid Cosmo Products like the plague! Their BBB rating is an F for a good reason. Double check the return policy when purchasing any appliance. The big box standard of 48 hours is not enough time to properly assess if a fridge is functioning properly.

Sleek and Beautiful
We wanted to have all Cosmo appliances so we sold our Samsung refrigerator and purchased this one. The outward appearance, I absolutely love. It's sleek and looks stunning in the kitchen without bulky handles sticking out. However, space is very limited in regards to shelving and especially in the freezer. We had to transport more than half of our frozen foods to the refrigerator in the garage. Ugh. Nonetheless, we are happy with the refrigerator and do appreciate the ice tray it comes with and it's cute little ice scooper spoon.

We love our new fridge!
Looks great in our kitchen. We like the modern design. The counter depth gave us a ton more room to walk, and it stores what we need.

Cosmo refrigerators dent way too easily.
We bought our Cosmo because we really liked the look of it, but shortly after we bought it, we noticed how easily it dents. Whatever stainless material they use to make their refrigerators out of, is not a quality material. :-(
