How many hours of light per charge, and how long it takes for each charge?

The model we have uses 3 size D batteries which are not the rechargeable type. We have used this light only when we have our infamous power outages due to high winds. I have only used this lantern after sunset until midnight... 5-6 hrs. at a time. I take the batteries out when not needed. Done this routine 3 times since getting this light. I love it...

Do these use chip on board (cob) leds? or do they use the older style leds?

I don't know. I do know they are really bright and do a good job lighting an area

How large is the lantern

The lantern is 7 1/2 “ high, 3 1/2” wide & 3 1/2” deep This is a great lantern, very bright!

How many hours will the battery last

So far it's lasted approximately 18 hours. And I also charged my phone on the same battery. It states in the directions
