Fit, Sound, Durability, Price. 2 Thumbs Up.
I bought my Sport Pace headphones via Amazon in April 2016 after trying Jaybirds and JBLs of similar build at the time. Up front; I'm buying another pair since I love the build/wire set up, they hold a charge for a long time and they have held up for longer than I expected. The Jaybirds and JBLs were of similar build in that I wanted a pair BT buds that would stay in my ears during sweaty, moving workouts and activities. Each of those fell off my favor due to weak ear to ear wiring and connections as well as one of them sounded very, very tinny. Sorry I can't remember which of them had the poor sound. Years ago I stopped trying to use the connected Apple ear buds do to bad ear fit and sweat dripping into control unit on wire that quickly ruined them. I had switched to Bose wired buds that sounded great but after the sweat came I'd have to fiddle with them constantly to keep them in place. Eventually the wired connection on two pair of those failed so the sound advantage went to just below build/fit in my priorities list. So.... I like: 1. Fit - These have never fallen out while running/working out. The over-ear bands don't necessarily hold them to your ear as much as take jus a bit of weight from the ear bud part and serve as a very smart/sturdy means of connecting the wires to each bud. 2. Build - The wire is thick and sturdy. The connection points to each bud is in through the end of the over-ear piece so its guarded from shock and the occasional pull out from taking shirt off or branch grab. 3. Sound quality - The Sport Pace buds sound good. They hold a decent range from low to high. I can actually adjust the bass portion with slight adjustments in ear depth. 4. BT / Battery life - BT connectivity is good and works well with both my Apple Watch and iPhone 6. The battery life is very good. I can run for an hour or so, even to this day, and only get the "Medium Battery Life" warning. Dislike: I don't truly have a dislike but that's really based on my experience with other buds. I produce a lot of perspiration, always have. So I find the weak spots from moisture introduction to these types of products. The charging port is on the bottom of one of the buds which is a great placement and if it's covered, sweat does not wick in to battery/electronics. I knew going in that I could not hang these around my neck. Ever. So I haven't. I bought a pair for my son and he works for a landscaping company and his pair died because he hung them around his neck for a couple days and the sweat went right into the charging port. Those will never be completely waterproof with light weight so it is a compromise. For me it's a very small compromise. End thoughts: I'm buying another pair now since I just lost the charging port plug so I think water may now wick in at some point. But, I guess that's the point. I'm buying another pair. These things have gone through literally hundreds of workouts and runs. Thats not a guess. I just went past my 365th workout in Apple workouts(most were wearing these, but not all). I also use them for working around house and nearly every lawn mowing over the three summers I've had them. These are my "Mobile" ear buds and I'm going to see how much longer they'll go... Update: Now have more than 1880 miles running on these. That doesn't count lawn mowing, car washing and such. I love these things. Three years of summers and massive sweating have not killed them, they sound great and stay in place so Im happy. The backup pair I bought a year ago is still in it's box.

Revised - Volume fades over time
I've had these a bit over a year and over the past few months I've noticed that the volume keeps dropping to the point where I can barely hear them in a quiet room. If there is any ambient noise whatsoever they are completely useless. -- Original Review Below -- So I have to have over-ear type earphones as my ears don’t allow regular ear-buds so I thought these would be a good fit. They are okay but they have some serious drawbacks. The good: They sound okay, I’m not looking for anything mind-blowing as only want them for listening to music on my phone so there they get the job done. Using them for phone calls is also fine. I have no issues hearing other people or being heard. They also stay put nicely while working out or running. The bad. The piece that goes over the ear is hard plastic with no padding whatsoever so after about 45 - 60 minutes of continuous use they start getting very uncomfortable. The construction quality is lacking. The silicone ear-pieces fall off way too easily and could easily get lost. The volume is okay for most uses but I found it was stretched to its limit when I was trying to use them on an airplane (I know, they’re really cheap earphones that aren’t meant to be noise isolating but still...) The ugly You cannot use them and charge them at the same time. I was on a long flight and they died halfway through; no problem, there is USB power in the seat so I plugged them in only to find you can charge them or use them but not both at the same time. I know that MIT’s best and brightest aren’t lining up to work for Jabra but still, that’s a bit enough design flaw that someone should have caught it. Overall they aren’t bad but I wouldn’t buy them again.

Great price, great audio quality!
I recently was sent a giftcard to purchase the awesome Jabra Sport Pace Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds. Its been awesome to try out! Like everything my teenager wanted them but I thought they would be awesome to take on the airplane with me and I was not disappointed. I have spent the last week traveling for a disney event so it was cool to have wireless earbuds that would stay in my ears while I was sleeping on the plane. And I do sleep the whole time I am flying lol. Its also cool that they have a over the ear part which makes them even more comfortable and easy to get them in your ears the right way. Great sound quality during calls and wonderful reception. They are rain, sweat, dust, and shock resistant so you can do your worse with them. Even the long drawn out runs. I will say that every breathe is easy to pick up so it is hard to run and talk because it picks up the heaving but maybe thats just because I need to get in shape more so I dont sound like I am dying while I am running. Easy battery charge the first time but it seem like it took longer to charge the second time. The charge lasts really well though even when you use them constantly like i did while flying.

Jabra vs. Powerbeats 2
Here is my review of these VS. the Beats Powerbeats 2 My Powerbeats 2 were beginning to die and fall apart after 10 months so I bought these as a back up. The beats won't turn on without full charge and the control button cover fell off. Volume: Compared to the Sport Pace, the Beats can go MUCH louder. I had the Jabra's on full volume and my phone on 95% volume in the gym to be satisfied. If I did this with the Beats, I'd blow an ear drum. Advantage - Beats. Comfort: This one is a toss up. The Jabra's are very light and you can barely feel them, however they don't feel cheap. After about 30-45 minutes they began to be a little bit uncomfortable in the eardrum. The Beats are very comfortable but I need to adjust them a lot. Unlike the Beats, the Jabra ear hook is not flexible. Reflective neck band on the Jabra is great for runners. Advantage - Beats. Quality: The Jabra's take the win here because for about $70 less than the beats, you get a very similar product. The music quality is great and has deep bass, but not quite the bass of the Beats. But for $80 versus $150, it's a no brainer. Extras: Jabra comes with fitness tracking applications which is awesome for motivation. This may be a big selling point for some, but I don't use them. Beats is simply a headphone. I think overall you get a better sound and comfort package in the Beats, but for half the price, applications, reflective neck band, and quality build, these Jabra's are a steal.

Glad to have the Jarba Sport Pace Earbuds for exercise, watching movies and singing with some tunes!
I finally got a pair of wireless earbuds for myself! We have 5 kids and typically they're the ones to get all the "good stuff"! Well, I recently made a commitment to myself to get more physically active and I definitely need music to do so. When I use my elliptical I'd have the earbuds that had to plug in and often when moving my arms I'd hit the wire just enough to knock out the sound of my device. Aggravating! So, the first thing I want to say is I love WIRELESS! Okay, so I get my device and I panic as I always do with electronics. I think---I'm never gonna get these to turn on or it's going to take forever to do so. My 15 year old, who knows everything, was around so I asked him to set up my Sport Pace Earbuds. He said, "Mom, no, seriously it's so easy, you can do it." and he sat there and watched me and made me do it. Ha! Even, me, who can never figure out anything like this, had these paired literally in seconds. My son crossed his arms and with a big smile on his face said, "Can I say I told you so?" I like the fell of the earbuds and I like the wrap around for the ear rather than just the bud that goes in the ear. I just feel like I know they'll stay in while working out. The buttons for the volume works good and the sound is great! I was leaving for vacation and brought these along. I did a lot of walking, bike riding, when I watched my favorite Netflix shows I used them and when I just wanted to sing along to some tunes I used them. I had no issues with the charge. I'm one when something isn't being used, I make sure to charge it so when I want it, it's ready. I think the Jabra Sport Pace Earbuds are a great quality and another thumbs up for another Jabra product. I'm so glad I finally have some for me. Okay, I'm off for another bike ride...oh, one more thing. There's an app with it to track your exercise. I'm just looking into it, so I can't give my input yet, but I'm excited to start using it!

Earphones stopped working mid-run after 6 uses, no more ...
Earphones stopped working mid-run after 6 uses, no more than 3 hours max overall use. Does not charge, does not turn on...it's dead. Will proceed to figure out how to get it replaced or refunded. UPDATE: Changing from 1 star to 3 stars because Jabra is sending a replacement. It involved a few emails with their customer support and they shipped out a new one after a week or so. Painless. In the meantime I had experimented with trying to get the earphones to recharge and turn on. I tried using an Apple adapter, Amazon adapter, plugging into laptop, desktop and finally a USB hub. With the USB hub it finally went to green light after an hour. I powered it on, the little voice said BATTERY FULL. I took it running and after about 15 minutes it said BATTERY AT 50% and then it died out again a short time after. Going to assume it has a bad battery. Maybe my ears are too sweaty.

Lasted 7 months - Updated
You get what you pay for, let's go down the list shall we. 1. Battery life is advertised at about 5 hours, out of the box and fresh off of the charger mine only lasted 3 hours. This continued up until it died today, 7 months after I purchased it, I could take it right off of the charger and I would still only get about 3 hours of total usage before it would die. Forget about storage as well, simply put this device does not have any sort of battery storage capability, if you leave it alone and off of the charger for a week it will be mostly drained. 2. It is not water proof or water resistant, case in point mine just died today and it was the clearest day you could possibly have. A headset with "sports" in mind can't stand up to sweating, let alone any sort of actual water it seems. 3. Sound quality was mediocre at best, I'd call it mediocre at best with zero noise cancellation functionality which is mostly fine. 4. The microphone is a joke, a mere suggestion of an addition, I would talk directly into the mic port and the person on the relieving end would still have trouble hearing me or understanding me. This device didn't even last a whole year, I got mine on December of 2019 and I was using it until the lockdown happened and I was unable to go to the gym. Only recently have I taken it out and used it now that the weather has warmed up. 2/3rds through my 5 mile walk and all of a sudden without any real button presses (I think I had unpaused it) then a minute later I hear a tone that I've never heard or rarely hear before and I am, without any input from me, locked out of the controls. So I shut it down and the lady says "audio prompts disabled" after that I try to turn it back on and it gives me a half boot up tone, once, twice, then finally it just flat out makes no sound, can't connect to the phone. The device was always kept in a dry environment when I wasn't using it, kept it charged without actually leaving it on the charging cable and tended to wipe away any residual sweat from walk or workout. Still none of that was good enough, it is just not made well and again after less then 7 months it died. Pathetic and not worth the money, if Jabra chooses to repay me or send me a new one that would be fine however you know what they say, "first impressions are the most crucial". I have since contacted Jabra, their support was awful by the way, at least the automated one, sent a support ticket so we'll have to see what they say. **8-3-2020 So after getting in contact with their support staff and giving them all of a the data from my purchase Jabra got back to me the final reply is as follows: Dear Blank, We regret to inform you that the reseller you purchased from is not authorized to sell Jabra products, and the product is therefore considered to be "used". By using authorized resellers,Jabra is able to monitor inventory and maintain the integrity of the Jabra products in circulation. The warranty applies only to the original purchase from an authorized reseller. Your only recourse for warranty replacement is to contact the seller from which the product was purchased. Best regards So there it is, I guess Amazon itself is not an authorized retailer to them or they are using that excuse to deny claims because they know for a fact that their product breaks quickly. If I could give it less then 1 star I would.

Great product at first but two months later...
My wired headphones of many years cut out during a trip and so I purchased these headphones given Jabra's brand reputation for bluetooth technology. Upon using them the first time, I had no regrets and fell in love with the product. My ears are on the larger side and have always found it difficult for any sort of earbuds to stay in my ear (especially during running or lifting) but these fit perfectly with the large gel cushion cover for the ear bud. The audio quality is good for what you pay for (got them for ~$75.00 so I'm not expecting audiophile quality) and phone calls were manageable when someone decided to interrupt me during a workout. Why rate it as two stars? The battery has somehow shorted or will not hold a charge and it has only been two months. Do I sweat a lot? Sure, but after every use, I wipe dry the cord and let them sit out on the counter or my desk to dry off vs. placing them back in my gym bag. I have always used my MacBook Air to charge the device yet nor do I subject the headphones to extreme temperatures (i.e. leave them in a car outside). Perhaps I will update this review if/when Jabra contacts me back regarding its failure to hold charge but until then, buyer beware.

Good sound
I wear them cycling and kayaking for hours at time. They are comfortable and work well. The sound quality is really good. Battery life is good enough for my purposes - hours of continuous use. I am contemplating trying jabra's high end ear buds, but I am afraid that I might lose one in the lake or on the road 🙂
