Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 Battery Upgrade 2300 mAh - Uses Original AR 2.0 Charger!

Battery works exactly as described. I get twice the flight time with this battery versus the battery that originally came with the drone. Drone Cover doesn't fit over this battery as well as with normal, but still works.

Bought this thinking that the 2300 mah was a scam or something seeing they do not offer this on their site. I was happily proven wrong. I have the 2000 mah battery form them to and can safely say there is an extra 300 mah in the battery and is not a just a label. Expect 30+ flight time with weight of shell and other things such as lights and/or camera equipment. Con: the battery is heavy and you can tell when flying it. The drone will still be responsive but will carry a vast amount more momentum then with the stock one. (Almost crashed few times getting used to it.) It also takes quite a bit a wiggling to get the shell just fit on top.(the battery is very tall) However the pros far outweigh the cons in my opinion , minimal weight added, uses original charger, lots of juice in battery. TIP : If you do buy this battery and are using the original A.R. Drone app in the app store please change your battery status settings accordingly to HD to sort of get an accurate reading. GREAT PRODUCT. DEF BUY!!!

Battery is listed as being for the AR 2.0 but it barely (doesn't actually) fits & it appears to be way heavier than the Drone can handle drastically changing it flight ability. Also going to return.

The battery delivers what it promises, and it *does* work. Overall I'm happy with it. However, it is larger than the standard Parrot AR Drone battery, and it can take some effort to get everything to fit just right and still get the body to close over the chassis. The extra weight makes the drone a bit less responsive, but the extra flight time is worth it! Just be aware that it is not a simple drop-in replacement.

very low quality it cause the dron not to fly properly

Like the battery life just wish it was easier to install in my helicopter.

The Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 Battery Upgrade is certainly what it claims to be. It is well made and provides additional flying time as advertised. The only detractors are its weight and size. Of course, LiPol batteries have a given power to weight ratio so there's not much the manufacturer can do to reduce its size or weight. If you're using a Flight Recorder, forget it. The securing straps won't reach around this battery. That said, if you fly by sight or FPV then this battery will be a good addition to your kit. I fly with GPS (Flight Recorder), by sight, and FPV so this battery has a place in my kit. I knocked off a star because the description didn't mention it's size and weight precluded the use of the Flight Recorder. This battery does charge properly in an AR Drone 2.0 standard balance charger.
