Montage Signature Interior/Exterior Eco-Friendly Paint, Mustard Seed, Low Sheen, 5 Gallon

I have not opened the can of paint but it got to me all busted up inside even though the box didn’t appear to be banged up. It’s not a lot of spilled paint but it seems to be usable. it was also like 5 days delayed. As far as the quality of the paint I can’t speak on it until I get the rest of my painting supplies so I can paint my living room. I will keep you updated on that. Update: regardless of how my first can of paint arrived I was able to use it and my living room and kitchen look fantastic! I ordered a second can and it arrived b4 estimated delivery date and in perfect condition! I’m doing my bedrooms next and hope to see a few new colors added to the selection. Thank you montage for the amazing product and price point. Update: 12/12/23 I’m on my 3rd can of paint in the same color and I am more than pleased with the quality and finish of this paint. I painted my daughters room this color and it’s so flattering in small spaces. It’s a great light color that you can throw almost any other color furniture against it and it won’t clash or shrink the feel of the room. I used painters tape and a cheap paint roller and my home looks like it was done by professionals. Don’t hesitate to buy. Only thing I would love is different colors at this price point.

I purchased 5 gallons of the Patina, but I am almost certain it is actually the Pewter even though the swatch on the bucket shows the correct color. Aside from the color (which is the #1 reason anyone chooses paint!), it goes on easily and covers well. On the lighter walls, it only required one coat to look even and fully finished. The fumes aren't as bad as most brands I've used. I was hoping the color would dry a warmer, creamier color instead of the gray-ish color I have, but it didn't. If the color was a true patina I would have given this product 5 stars. I don't hate the color, but it just isn't what I wanted for my home. I just think I recieved the wrong color somehow? I would still recommend buying...it is a great deal for a good and relatively eco-friendly product. Just keep the color issue in mind when purchasing. I would likely purchase from again in the future. **EDITED TO ADD: I have attached some photos to show the paint color and updated my rating. The paint appears off-color for the first two days, but when it is TOTALLY and completely dry, it definitely looks more creamy, as advertised. It also looks a little different based on the amount of windows and lighting in the room. In the first photo, I showed what the fresh paint looks like (on the unfinished wall at the top) and what the paint looks like totally dry in the room beyond the fresh coated wall that has a smoke detector on it. I also included a photo of the bathroom wall we did 3 days ago. This is some amazing stuff and after a day or so scare, I am truly happy with my purchase and felt it was important to edit into my review! Thank you for such a good product!

I am absolutely pleased with how this paint flows with even texture. It spreads evenly and if you use too much in one area it will stick out (visually) so you can adjust the area and spread paint to unpainted area . This saves paint, allowing the paint to go much further. I painted my driveway, bathroom, inside doors. Ceiling room divider that is stucco and had some missing stucco. The paint allowed for patchwork and the compromised areas now blend in with the seam and is hardly noticeable. Plus I love the color! Other than needing to touch up some spots on the doors? I only needed one coat of paint to really make the doors pop. I have paneling that is outdated and just plain ugly, the faux wood look had to go. So to break up the monotony, I painted the bedroom doors which there are 3 in master bedroom and it really takes the eye sore look of paneling away. I know I stated I love the color. But I REALLY love the color! I can go on and on about this paint. Also the ceiling fan blades but now against the contrast of beam, I see I need to paint the fan base as well. Great paint ❤️

Many might not advise to buy paint sight-unseen, but for the price ($100-200 less than retail), I took my chances. It came in today (as promised), and here is my review. 1) It is not the exact color advertised (see my photos) HOWEVER, I actually LOVE the color. I ordered and received ‘Pewter’, but my color is more of a silver/grey with a blue hue. In all fairness, I would have ordered the color it turned out to be if I’d been given the choice. 2) I am very pleased with the level of ease. While I am repainting very old, murky walls, and should definitely do another coat, my picture shows how one single coat has transformed the wall. More so, many of our walls are a dated ‘stucco’, and until the day comes to re-Sheetrock them, I’m pleasantly surprised to see it covering and reaching those hard to fill dirty nooks and crannies. 3) It is not a ‘low sheen’ (unless by low-sheen, they mean matte). Again, HOWEVER, I am happy with that in my case because it hides the imperfections (not to mention the glaring stucco) much better than if it were shiny. Bottom line, if you are not worried about a 100% perfect color match, do not hesitate to buy this. In my case, it was a bit off (their sample pictures have more of a tan hue... which actually represents Pewter), but it worked out well for me and I am very satisfied.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! It covers even and smooth, no crossing lines, and even touch up is incredible! I love this paint! Oh, and it looks soft, professional and expensive

Ok so this is going to be a pretty long review but I wanted to really give a little details since there aren't a lot of reviews yet. Cons: -You cannot really tell what color this is because the swatch behind the can is tiny and there is not an example on a room like many of the other paints. -My initial order was returned by FedEx due to damage and the second can I got was in am undamaged box but the can itself looked like it had been in a bar fight and nearly lost. So I am assuming they just repackaged my original order because the can seal was intact. Pros: -Ok so after UPS returned the item I have to say the company did overnight my second order and that was awesome and unexpected! Great customer service there! -This is a very high quality paint for the price! -Very good coverage. I only had to do one coat though what I was painting over was a light color. It required very few touch up areas and only that because the walls are pretty heavy textured. I used a roll brush and a paint brush and it went on smoothly with both. -The paint is perfect consistency for a fast smooth paint and it dries quickly. -It goes on like a satin/eggshell. -Very low odor. -Easy clean up on areas that I dripped or accidentally touched the trim. - The price is amazing. - I loved that it shipped to my door during the work week so I can work on projects during the weekend without me ever having to go into the store. * I purchased the twilight and though it looks more gray it comes out more of a shade of blue gray but it is a beautiful neutral color and I really like it. Still more gray than blue for sure but you just barely pick up the blue undertone. When I asked my 5yo what the color was she said "blue" if that tells you anything. My sister says it looks only gray to her so you decide from pictures. The pictures I am posting are with LED bright white lights for the sink area and regular low watt for the shower area so you get an idea of the true color. I will order more paint from this company for sure!! Hope the photos help. In some of my pictures the paint is a little wet thus it looks lighter in some areas.:)

Ordered the Swiss coffee, there was no color in the paint it was just white paint. I got it on sale so, not bad for $89. It covers pretty well in 2 coats, would have liked to have the nice Swiss coffee color though. 3 star.

My one and only complaint is it was banged up pretty well during shipping. Little bit of leakage, lots of dents, and the handle was completely broken off. Never realized how annoying a paint can without a handle would be but jeeze. Clearly that was not at any fault of the seller though. Anyways, this paint really exceeded what I would’ve expected from buying a color based off of online images and reviews. The color (dove gray) is everything I could’ve wanted. Perfect, cozy shade of griege. Mixing took a little while, but not a big deal. It goes on smooth like butter. It was thick enough after being well mixed that splatter was little to none. I would definitely recommend two coats, as you would with most any paint. The first coat had me a little nervous, was way more beige than grey. Second coat, completely transformed the room. 10/10 recommend so highly! Definitely bang for your buck!!
