Actually impressed
I was sceptical about this just being heat-soaked after time but it really works. I used the thermal pads to cover the parts on the Pi and it's doing a great job. Running stress for ~10 minutes and it kept the pi temps very reasonable (upto 54C when the pi can operate higher than that). Running a compile on it for some connected ESPHome kit and the temps are sitting at 40-45C. It's solid, sturdy, looks great, easy to assemble and not overly expensive. Doesn't cause issue with any connections. Good bit of kit

Very effective.
Excellent. Temperatures 10 degrees down from standard case. Easy installation. Looks great.

Surprisingly effective
Bought this for a Pi 4 running ADS-B. Almost as effective at cooling as a case fan but obviously silent. Easy to mount, nice and sturdy feel and really does keep the Pi at an acceptable operating temperature.

Solid, effective passive cooling for a pi4 based Home Assistant setup
I have a home assistant set up for my father in law which uses a pi4 to do a few limited things. It works very well, but the old case had a fan, which started to wear out. I looked for a silent, passive case and found this. Nice easy to fit and seems to be doing a very good job in keeping the cpu at a reasonable temperature. It's also a bit of a solid block of metal which is strangely reassuring that it will do its job,. In any case, I'm now happy that it will be noise free and everything will work just fine until the pi4 dies - which hopefully it won't!

Good for the price, could be sleeker
I am trying Windows 10 (perhaps 11) on the Pi4 and needed a better cooling solution than "none". In summary, for the price (fulfilled by AZ not China) is OK and the quality is OK. I do not like fans (noise, dust build-up, etc.) and Windows does not really have support for Pi fans (variable speed based on CPU temperature) + WiFi has no driver - thus I was not missing anything by using an all-metal enclosure. The quality is OK, very thin paint so don't bash it as it easily scratched. The screws need a bit of grease to assemble. You will need thermal grease if you're going to be use the copper shim (recommended) rather than thermal pad. SD card is a bit hard to insert/remove but then many cases are worse. In any case for Windows you want an external USB3 SSD thus not really an issue. But could be better. In use, it seems to be OK, getting warm (thus good transfer of heat) but still needs to be in a well-ventilated position. In any case it does work, even overclocking the Pi 4 to 2GHz is stable in Windows 10 Arm64. All in all, there are sleeker cases available (Flirc, Argon, etc.) but at almost 2x the cost most times. If you can get one of those, please do. Otherwise this is not bad for just over 10 quid. You can get lots of these direct from China for less but then you need to wait a few weeks. YMMV.

Seems a decent case (Was: Poor quality casting)
Update: The replacement case arrived today and the screws fitted fine. The threads were still a little rough but nothing a few rotations of the screws couldn't sort. Good customer service from Geekworm by the way - they seemed quite willing to help and asked me to get back in touch if the replacement case didn't fare any better. Original Review (2*): I'm gutted this case hasn't worked out for me as on paper it sounds excellent - what with it's direct-contact heatsink 'turrets' - and when it arrived it even felt nicely cool in my hand! However, having popped the Pi 4 in (good fit) and attempted to screw the lid down I couldn't... The screws just weren't making any purchase. I dismantled everything so it was just the case half (no lid), the screws and me - and they still wouldn't work. The casting of the screw holes was of such poor quality I could only get one of the screws in (it doesn't help that they've got a parallel thread to the end whereas a tapered end would at least help make an initial purchase). The other three weren't having any of it and even when I got two of them to 'bite' I couldn't deliver the necessary torque to drive them any further without the hex head starting to strip. I tried with another allen key (there's one supplied) but still no joy. Very disappointed and wondering if I've just been unlucky or if I should be looking elsewhere. I've also concluded that even if I did drive the screws home if there's a risk I can't remove them afterwards then I'm in trouble.

Well made solid case
I was worried this would be cheap and shoddily made. The case is surprisingly hefty and appears to be made of aluminium approx 1mm thick. The two sides mate perfectly. I bought this case to protect the pi from dust and also allow heat dissipation. I can see through the side slot, that the heat dissipation pillars dont crush the provided rubber heat dissipation pads at all - i didnt like the idea of the board being stressed by poor pillar design. The pillars are also at the correct height to match the height of the components they dissipate heat from. Extra rubber pads and screws are provided in the pack - really good of them considering how much of a faff it would be to get future replacements. The screws are light threaded, but then you arent fixing a shelf to a wall, merely securing the two sides of the case, so they shouldnt be overtightened anyway. I can also see the pi status leds through two small holes in the case. This case gives the pi a bit of mass so its not as easy to knock around on a desktop for example. I also love the heavy ribbed design. My pi is currently headless, so i dont yet have the ability to do extensive thermal testing. the ports are also all well exposed - none sit within the case too much. Very pleased.

Great deal, fantastic case
The default temperature of my rasberri by was about 70 degrees celsius. Any serious computation raised it to 85. Now, I can download files at 45MB per second without reaching 50 degrees. This is not a fake review. I really love this product. The case itself is sturdy, the packaging is small and useful. They even include an extra set of thermal pads! Really great stuff

100 fois mieux qu'un ventilateur
Excellent refroidissement.

Good fanless solution
Solid look, physical protection of my RPi 4B, good fitting of heat sink, getting a little hot though. Using it after removing case with fan because it became too noisy.

Very good product
Very good product and delivered in short time outside USA. The CPU temperature at a heavy operating load with this heat sink passive case almost reach 52° for an ambient temperature of 30°. The case is somewhat heavy than I have expected which indicates that it is fabricated from heavy metal almost iron or alumenum. Just you can set the case vertically to dissipate more heat than horizontally. Finally, I have noticed that the WiFi signal became weaker especially in the 5GHz band, however the 2.4GHz one still received with good levels.
