Good quality oil
Works great! I use it on my Damascus knives to keep them from rusting. Also have used it as a lube for small moving metal parts and it works great for that as well! I can imagine it would be great for sewing machines and the like.

Fantastic knife and tool oil/lube. Great value for the cost.
Great oil for small tool like pliers as well as knifes/blades. A single drop goes a long way. The price might seem high but this bottle will last a long time if used properly. The cap keeper is a nice touch. Please note, there is a proper plastic plug that needs to be removed before use, be careful, use a fingernail to remove it while holding it firmly with paper towels. If you spill this stuff on your floor, you’re going to have a bad day.

Prevents rust on high-carbon knives
I reapply to my knife as needed to avoid rust spots. As long as I don't forget to do that, no rust comes. Works! Just put a few drops on each side of the blade, and rub all over with your finger carefully. Bottle is nice and small.

A game changer!
I wish I discovered this sooner. It's amazing to have a way to protect my tools from rust that isn't toxic or smelly. I've also made paste wax with it by combining it with melted paraffin wax.

Excellent for Japanese knives, a little goes a long way, so should last for years
Use this to keep my Japanese blue steel knives from rusting, and it works extremely well. Also use on my straight razors and kamisori to prevent rust. You only need the smallest of amounts to coat the blade. I can see this small bottle lasting several years.

Great oil, a must have for carbon knives and wooden handles
This is a MUST have if you own any carbon steel knives. Carbon steels knives like Shirogami or Aogami are very susceptible to rust. Even with proper care/maintenance and a strong patina, rust can still happen. This tsubaki oil is completely odorless and food grade so use with knives that see restaurant action is perfectly fine. Add a couple drops onto your knife and wipe down with either a cloth or paper towel will keep your carbon knives in tip top rust prevention shape. This oil is also good for restoring and adding an extra layer of protection to wooden handles.
