I don't know about ear wax removal because I don't stick anything in my ears, but as a small spoon or scoop this device works great! Nicely machined and well built.

These are handy to have, better then a q-tip, but always use caution when useing any ridged tool to clean your ears.

I wanted an ear spoon as a safer alternative to cotton swabs. This isn't it. The spoon part is SO tiny, it's like sticking a flat-head screwdriver in your ear. I foresaw potential problems and attempted to be very careful with it and still managed to injure my ear. Luckily it seems to have healed without damaging my hearing, but don't take chances with such an important part of your body.

A bit disappointed that the ear pick tip is so big! It’s sturdy and compact. But the big tip makes it hard for me use it much. Can’t move it around too much. Maybe my ear canals are just narrow.
