This stuff is incredible for odorous house ants.
I've had problems with odorous house ants for an extremely long time, pretty much every Spring there's an ant invasion in my kitchen and bathroom despite many attempts to keep them out with caulk and extensive cleaning. I had such a big problem with these ants that at one time, they were in almost every room of my house and I was considering calling an exterminator, but then I saw people on a forum recommending Advion. I've tried sprays, natural repellants, diatomaceous earth and a huge array of other baits [gels, pastes and granules, including homemade with Borax] over the years and NONE of those have worked as well as Advion Ant Bait. Terro bait gel was attractive to the ants, they swarmed it almost immediately, but it killed the worker ants too quickly before they could transport it back to the colony and get the queen. Raid and Raid Max Force baits worked decently, but within a week or so the ants would be right back on my countertops. With Advion, I placed a few beads of the bait gel anywhere I saw the ants congregating, next to their 'lines', and they discovered it almost immediately and called their friends to join in. Seriously, the ants love this stuff, you put a little bit of it down where they can find it and they'll be swarming it in numbers that are almost intimidating and scary. I would place a few beads of it where I saw ants gathering and within five to ten minutes there were dozens, after an hour, hundreds. In a few cases, perhaps even a thousand or more within hours. The ant activity would continue sometimes for days, and often I would need to reapply the bait and give them some more, or sometimes the bait would dry out [usually after a couple of days, so not too quickly] but I would just keep adding more until the ants were gone. Within about four or five days, there may have been a handful of stragglers walking around, but no major ant activity and they have stayed gone for over six months at this point. No more waking up to find a line of ants marching across my floor on their perilous journey to the garbage can, no more trying to cook with annoying and bothersome ants wandering around on the counter or stove, no more ant buddies while I'm taking a shower, no more ants crawling around on my desk while I'm trying to work. I would absolutely recommend this product, it really is the "silver bullet" for my ant problem. It comes in a secure tube, doesn't leak and it's very easy to apply and it will stick where you apply it, even if you have to put it near ceilings or near wall trim, as I often do. If you have a big ant problem, you may need multiple tubes, order more than you think you might need because you may be surprised by the true number of ants. It seems to retain moisture for a while, a couple of days at least, making it easy for the ants to take back to their colony. Basically, if you have an ant problem, stop wasting time with other baits or solutions and use Advion, ants love this stuff and it absolutely gets rid of them.

THIS. STUFF. WORKS.
I can’t recommend this stuff highly enough! If you have an ant problem Advion is your solution! I used to joke that our development must have been built on an ant farm. Every spring those little buggers found their way into our home no matter how much I sprayed. They relentlessly came in during the summer finding their way somehow under the front door and they’d swarmed in under windows sometimes even carrying their eggs (yuck). It didn’t seem to matter that I had sprayed or put down those ant traps because they persisted to find a way in around windows in the DR, LV, kitchen and they even made themselves at home in our second floor master bath. No one wants ants crawling around their toothbrushes! After literally years of trying every kind of spray and ant trap I waved the white flag and called an exterminator. He used some gel stuff and explained to me that it would attract ants-so not to panic-but the incoming ants feasting on the gel would carry it back to the colony poisoning all the ants including the queen. I was less than enthusiastic to be luring even more ants into my bathroom. But it was so worth it because after just a few days there were no more ants! That was back in 2021 and I haven’t had to share my bathroom, kitchen or any other room with those little squatters anymore. What the exterminator used was Advion gel and it’s great that Amazon sells it so no need to hire an expensive exterminator when you can do it yourself. Advion is worth every penny! Now if I see any ants outside getting busy around a doorway, on my deck or on the side or my house I just squeeze out a little gel in their path. It’s been so wonderful being ant free in my home since 2021! I have recommended this product to friends but wasn’t sure if I had ever written an Amazon review so I wanted to share my experience with fellow ant warriors. Throw away all those Raid ant traps and smelly sprays. Free yourself from those unwelcome houseguests that move in when the weather gets warm. Advion gel was a game changer for me! I would give it 100 stars if I could.

Fantastic
This worked extremely well for me with one caveat. I purchased a home a few months ago and within a few weeks realized there were ants (carpenter I think, but possibly acrobat) coming out of the bathroom ceiling supply vent. Not in large numbers, but enough to where I knew it was a problem. Horrifying. I got this gel and put it wherever I safely could (away from pets, and not in air ducts of course). For ants that wandered out of the vent, this worked perfectly. The ants went straight for it, ate it up, shared with their buddies, and all croaked (not immediately, but that’s the point, so that they can transfer it back to their friends and the nest). I even used some outside in a problem area. Did the job so well. Unfortunately because the indoor nest was in my attic above the bathroom ceiling, and that part of my attic is inaccessible, I wasn’t able to get advion up there. I ended up having to drill a few holes in the ceiling drywall and inject fuse foam. Combined with the Advion, this has finally solved my ant problem and I love not seeing ants anywhere in the bathroom or straying from it. I used to be a big Terro fan, but Advion has surpassed it for me in terms of effectiveness, consistency (it’s a gel so I was able to easily put it on spots like ceiling and walls), and application method. And cleanup was easy- if you’ve ever spilled Terro or gotten it on the floor, you know that pain of cleaning it up (extremely annoying). I do want to mention that if you’re not really able to access the nest (attic, inside a wall) or enough of the ants, Advion will help with strays that are able to get inside your home through cracks and gaps, but ultimately you would probably want to pair it with fuse foam. These 2 products together were the answers to my ant nightmare and I will recommend them to anyone. I got both on Amazon for under $50 and probably saved myself hundreds of dollars over going with a pest control service.

Does the job so you can Live your LIFE!!!
Having worked in the restaurant industry, I know pests. In fact, I recommend this particular Ant remedy to EVERYONE I know. Being from the Pacific Northwest we had the usual bout of ants every spring. Our pest control guy that came in monthly at the restaurant I worked at highly recommended Syngenta Advion Ant because it REALLY does the job. It only takes 2-3 days or so before it has done the work. Now that I don't live in the Pacific Northwest anymore, the bugs are CRAZIER- especially the ants. But thank goodness this stuff is allowed in Texas because I can STILL get it. Some of the laws back home don't allow residents to order it anymore so thank goodness my state DOES! The Four tubes last me a year and there is no leaking and the plungers are easy to use. The best for random colonies that invade your house or even your garden.

Works but maybe too soon to know for sure
It just works!! BUUUUUUT man, a few days later and the ants are back 😔 we've been following instructions and replenishing every 5or so days including using a separate product around the outside of the house edges, window sills, doors, etc... The ants we have are sugar ants. It sticks well wherever you put it.

Trust the process, it works better than anything else I have ever tried
I tried other gel ant baits that were okay, I used them for maybe a month. Not great but okay. Then I read about this product and was hopeful it would be better than okay. It has worked really well. The little buggers love it. They go crazy when its laid down, scrambling to eat it, all lined up around it. It will attract ants you didn't know were hiding. It will creep you out. I read those warnings so I trusted the process, turned off my lights and went upstairs to bed. In the morning the ants were gone. I repeated for several days and each time dramatically fewer and fewer were attracted. I kept thinking trust the process. I live in a 3100 sqft wooden home built in 1859 and there are so many tiny cracks it would be impossible to occult them all. I haven't seen ants in a couple days. I treated my kitchen and upstairs bathroom where the cat eats and didn't even use a 1/4 syringe. I observed an area with a couple ants in the bathroom and squirted it near by but away from where the cat would wander. Success and would buy again

Best ant bait I have ever used!
This stuff is great for Carpenter ants and others as well.If you follow the instructions it works great. From some of the reviews I read I think some people did not actually read the instructions. It’s not a quick overnight fix. After one baiting session I saw immediate improvements but you want to have some patience, it takes time to kill the whole colony. Stragglers came from time to time. But after 2 weeks they were completely gone! Search the house and the yard no ants anywhere! And I still have 3 1/2 tubes left! A little goes a long ways!

Worked
Usually Terro is my go to for ants, but the ants on my patio just wouldn’t die after several applications. I used this stuff for about 3 weeks and and about 3/4ths of a syringe and finally the colony seems dead. I don’t know if other black ant colonies are as tenacious as this one was, but I noticed there were several periods where there seemed to be a million of them swarming the bait, then a day or two later it would seem like there weren’t any left at all, then a few days after that they’d be back in force again. I definitely had to adjust where I put my dots and lines of bait because they didn’t always return to the ones I’d already laid after they’d been gone a few days. But I could tell they were very interested in the bait itself because when I put down lines/dots around the ants, their antennae would go crazy and usually a couple would wander over. The bait is also solid/sticky enough to be applied to vertical surfaces and upside down without sliding off, though, the longer the string say open the more watery the gel seemed to get, so I’m not sure what the texture looks like if you let the syringe sit open for months.
