Bosch R2543 Activated Carbon Cabin Filter, Replacement Filter - Against Unpleasant Smells, Pollen and Dust for Cleaner Air Inside the Vehicle

This cabin filter by Bosch feels of really high quality and was really easy to install into my car (which is a Golf GTI MK7.5). The filter slid straight into place of the original filter without much resistance and the clear airflow arrows on it was helpful as it tells you which way to put it in without any guesswork. The whole process itself took less than 5 minutes altogether for me making this a stress free bit of maintenance for myself which I can easy do in the future by myself now. Once fitted, the difference in the air inside the car was immediately recognisable. My heater now delivers a far cleaner flow of air and there is genuinely a pleasant freshness blowing from the vents that was not there before with the old filter. It states that it tackles things such as dust and exhaust smells which I have noticed these improvements on those longer drives or when in slow moving traffic. What stands out for me most is how much more comfortable the cabin feels overall. The activated carbon layer seems to do its job at reducing lingering odours, leaving the space in my car feels cleaner and more breathable. For such a small and inexpensive part, the upgrade in comfort is second to none and is definitely something I would happily purchase again.

Fit's Seat Ateca perfectly. The access to the filter box is a pain, but the filter can be bent slightly to accommodate and squeeze in and is an exact OEM replacement.

Anyone who'd fitted a cabin filter to the Mk3 Octavia knows that the first time you take the glovebox out to get access to the cabin filter, it's a bit of a nightmare getting it back on again with the damping arm correctly fitted. If you don't know what you're doing, getting the glovebox off and back on again can be quite awkward. Happily, once you've got the knack, it's pretty easy, and changing the cabin filter is not much bother. So it's a delight to find the "best" cabin filter, with anti-odour and anti-bacterial properties at such a great price on Amazon. It fits perfectly and, once you've beaten the glovebox, very easy to fit. As Skoda want about £45 to replace your cabin filter (and you probably won't get the anti-bacterial one at that cost), this is a much better option. Highly recommended!

Bought for a Golf mk7, easy to fit made the airflow better due to the old one being blocked. Bosch quality much better.
