Organic Moong Beans Green Whole

I like the taste of this moong. The beans are good quality and taste good. I sprout them and they always sprout. I even grew some of the sprouts into plants which then produced new pods filled with more beans. Very happy with this and buying again!

Usually I buy this from the Indian store. It takes a long time to cook. But this one take less time and knowing that it is organic (I hope so), make me feel good and comfortable.

I will not be buying these again. Some of the beans cooked up nicely, but about half of them were still hard. I had to overcook part to get the other soft enough to eat. This tells me that they mixed old beans with new, as old beans take longer to cook. I would rather have all old beans, or all new beans so they can cook consistently. Also as a personal preference, I do not care as much fore smaller mung beans (texture). these are the smaller mung beans. Can't tell from the picture. Although I do appreciate that they are organic

Great product! Much better and softer texture than non-organic ones we purchased before. Packaging was different though—green color. We use in Chinese recipes (Lü Dou or Lv Dou). Excellent texture. Small bean size. Non-organic are probably larger due to fertilizer.

I use mung beans to make an ayervedic recipe called kutcheri. It is a very nutritional and healing soup to make. I also Sprout them to use in stir-fry’s and salads, knowing that they are grown without the use of harmful pesticides make’s this product superior and I can feel confident using it.

I've bought the Bob's Red Mill mung beans for years but was unhappy with these. They did not sprout, didn't increase much in size after soaking 24 hrs and took double the time to cook. I'm afraid these are either bad or irradiated somehow (even though they are organic). I've never had a mung bean not sprout! I won't purchase again.

We use for sprouting, in a machine. These grow very slender and are great fresh or lightly stir fried. Grow them without light. Very few broken beans, germination rate is high. I feel like it's great value since even conventional sprouts are poor quality and expensive here. Im not sure we can get through the whole bag in a year and am somewhat concerned germination rate will plummet.

There is no mention of the beans being tiny and produce healthy but skinny thin sprouts! I am willing to pay more if I can get nice fat sprouts as per use the savings are negligable. If you just want cheap, they are a good deal. It is like fruits grade A & B. However I expect Amazon to mention that in the listing! I expect Amazon to have a spell checker for the review, also counter of spaces used in the headline! Only if you want to continue purchasers to bother writing!
