The sound is incredible and the bowl sings with such ease - as if to communicate that to sing is it’s only desire. The energy produced by the bowl is extraordinary, harmonizing and so peaceful. I wish to thank the tradesmen who’ve crafted such amazing gifts, and then choose share these gifts with the world. I will treasure mine always! If you are first learning, this is an easy bowl to learn on - however, I would recommend beginners/first-time buyers do a little research first - I spend time picking the bowl that “spoke” to me and I’m very glad I took the time to do this (Thank you Ohm Store!) - as well as watch some YouTube videos to “see” the techniques that will produce which sounds. I would recommend these to first-time bowl owners or to anyone who appreciates a well crafted great sounding bowl. They would make a fabulous gift (if you feel you know a person well enough - to choose one - or buy them a gift card to choose their own).

I received this bowl yesterday. The simplicity of the design and the color is beautiful. It has a nice pitch and resonance. I was able to make it sing on my second try and it sings beautifully. The Ohm store staff was very helpful when I had questions. I recommend it.

Shipping was very fast! I bought the Lingam 4" bowl as a gift for my husband and we both really love it. The bowl has great sound and resonates beautifully! It has a deeper sound than what I was expecting for such a small bowl. We received everything that was promised, the bowl, mallet and cushion. We are very happy with our purchase! Husband says the bowl seems to be tuned to a D note. Is it authentic and handmade? We have no idea but it plays so wonderfully it really doesn't matter to us.

Keep practicing! I bought this for my mom and just figured out how to do it the other day. It’s a very meditative sound. I recommend purchasing.

This bowl was the perfect size to use in my personal meditation. The sound is deep and resonating. The small pillow it comes with is pretty and allows the bowl to sing beautifully. It would make a great gift for self or another. Love it! Great price too!!

The bowl sounds great, I use it regularly. Joining the on line discussions has brought me knowledge of the making of the bowls (Nepal! and handcrafted) the use of the bowls and how I can use mine. I have become a big supporter of the Ohm store, have told others about them as well as Frank and Nikki

This was my first singing bowl. It has amazing sound that vibrates loudly. I got brass versus crystal as I use it out on my pool deck. The tones are incredible and resonate out to my backyard causing my neighbor's dogs to howl. My meditation is interrupted by laughter but the commotion takes the stress away.

A bit disappointing but it's okay.

Love, love, love the sound of this bowl. I really appreciate the previous buyers who actually took the time to send in a video with the bowl "singing". This is what helped to make the decision to buy the lower toned bowl.

I love this singing bowl. I have others but the sound created by this singing bowl is amazing. It is now my favourite to use. I was going to order another bowl for less money from another company but read the reviews about this one first. So glad I did this, took a leap of faith and ordered this one. The singing bowl makes a beautiful sound. Would have been nice if a box for the bowl was included especially since this is more expensive than an even larger bowl. The cushion stinks terribly!! Smells like something that has been in mold for years. I soaked the cushion in Forever New twice for days and rinsed out well so the cushion no longer smells. As the bowl makes a beautiful sound and the lingam bowl is rare I will be keeping it.
