UltraPro 18 Inch Plug in Under Cabinet Light with Soft White 2700K Light

I have a sink in my shop that is located below and in between a long row of cabinetry. The configuration of the cabinets created an environment that has been extremely difficult for me to fill with light. The primary light is mounted to the ceiling behind me, such ,that my body casts a shadow over the sink space. I was grazing along my AMAZON account one evening and spotted this UltraPro, 36 inch, LED, Plug-in, Under Cabinet Light. It features a three position High/Low/Off switch, a warm white light, as opposed to that eye straining bright blue light, and it fit my application need PERFECTLY!! It also comes with a 5' cord that's designed with a flat 3-prong space-saver plug that hugs the wall. The high/low switch allows me to choose whether to use one or the other, depending upon my need at the moment. I leave it on the low setting when I am away, and I don't open the door to a dark room when I enter the shop. The bright setting is amazingly bright without burning up my eyes in the process. PERFECT!! From package to mounted and plugged in was less than ten minutes, and EVERYTHING that I needed, hardware and fastener wise, was all there in the box! It even comes equipped with a link cord for daisy chaining a series of lights together in order to install a number of UltraPro lights in a row beneath the cabinet. The unit is reasonably priced and well made. I was astonished at the quality of material and craftsmanship! I plan on purchasing several more of these to install above my work benches and counter spaces!!

Super slim and dissappears under a cabinet. Only thing I would have liked better is if you could put the cord on the opposite side as well. The power cord plugs in on the opposite side of the switch. In my situation, it would have worked better for me if the power cord could attach to the switch side. Still worked fine tho. Nice soft light, not the super white operation light that is popular now. 🤣

It work great but hope it last longer than the other 1 it's the same as the other 1 but did not last long at all. Never used it that much. So if it does not last long I will not buy it again.

I really like these lights. They were easy to install with the two provided screws. I connected two of them together with the accompanying connection cord and it worked like it should. The one thing I was disappointed about is that the connected light was not operated by the one switch on the light plugged into the wall. That may be a good thing for some, but it was a drawback for me. Also, the switches on the lights are small and very cheap. I am afraid that they will not last and they are hard to operate. I plan to put a sturdy switch on the power cord, so I can operate both lights with one switch and I will not put a lot of wear on the switches on the lights. There is also two settings on the lights, low and high. I really like that feature because it gives you a lot of lighting options. I would recommend these lights and I will probably buy them again. They are reasonably priced. They put out a lot of light. They are connectable. They have two light setting. They are easy to install. You might just want to plan on putting another switch into the light.

**WARNING: Plan and engineer every detail of the installation VERY carefully before you buy these. This is not a quick DIY project. Also, know you have to click the tiny switch on each light bar to turn it on...not sure if a had large / man hands if I could even use the switches? **Bought these for under my kitchen cabinets to light up my counters. My cabinets do NOT have flat bottoms but rather are framed and the bars were going across multiple units. I added small boards in the corner to the bottom of that cabinet. I had to literally lay on my back, feet on the floor to install these. I am only 5'2 and this was a job for a contortionist, not an older adult. **The screws split the frames of the cabinets over time, I tried duct tape to secure the light bars, but they kept falling and sliding out of the slots for the screw heads that remained on the board I put in the corner. I removed them "temporarily." **After almost a year waiting to put them up again, finally gave it another try. Built up the cabinet bottoms to provide a flat surface to screw mounts into. Added additional screws beside the light bars to keep them from slipping off the screw heads. (Even when I had secured them the light bar still moved and fell off...and more tightening at the mounting would have meant cracking the plastic and leaving me no way to put them up.) **Have a cord loop hanging where I joined the two and have to figure out some way to tack that up. Also, the cord hangs off one end then comes across my backsplash to the electrical outlet. Concealing the cord is another project. **On the plus side: Units are lightweight. Very bright and provided exactly the bright lighting I needed to work on my counter tops. Appreciate the option of a softer light. BOTTOM LINE: The amount of time I invested, it would have been so worth it to hire a handyman. Lesson learned.

So, so, SO easy to install. I taped the excess cord to the bottom of the cabinet. The lights themselves are very flat and very lightweight. Single screw on either end, took me maybe 20 minutes to center, mark for the drill and screw in place. I did not link mine together. Love the warm white light, love the ability to choose low or high light setting. Every single evening, I marvel at how helpful it is to have this extra light and the way it gives the appearance of having more space than I actually have. I really, really love this product. Highly recommend.

Edited review: 3/21/25 I liked this light so much I bought a second one, however, the second one is much brighter as this one is no longer at its full brightness. It did have a dim mode and a brighter mode and now there is no difference between both dim modes. As this light is only a few months old this is incredibly discouraging. I'm changing my review from a five star to a one star. Exactly as described! We removed our microwave and we're looking for a nice light do you have on at night. I was able to hide the cord slightly by mounting it with a little cord hiding piece and feeding it up through where our microwave plugged in. Simple and easy to mount and very low profile. I love the soft white color of the light and it has a high and a low setting. The screws included were perfect and short. The 24 inch description was perfect to the actual light measurement. It also comes with an extra attachment. If you want to link it to another light, I did not need this feature, though.

We have 3 for under cabinet kitchen lighting. This latest purchase was a replacement and we have the plug and play wiring setup up which makes replacing a breeze. We keep our lights on around 12 hours each day.

We bought our light to replace a fixture in a Glass Display Cabinet. Our old lights had been discontinued, and were no longer available. It was a quick and easy solve to our problem. It looks like they would work well in an undercabinet situation that they were designed for.

The light works well mounted under upper cabinets, lots of light with 2 brightness settings. Installed in under 5 minutes. Plug in & ready to use. No motion sensing.

Once I installed it and plugged it in, it worked well. Exactly what I was looking for.
