Get ready for a good workout
I got the 110in. It turned out great, and made a great addition to my setup. I’d say I’m pretty fit, but the day after putting this together my body felt as sore as it would be after hitting leg day (probably because of the constant bending down to assemble each part). Not a bad thing, just something to be aware of. Assembly took me about 3 hours. However I would not be surprised if someone took 1 hour or 6 hours to assemble this. After assembly, there are a few very small wrinkles that are only visible from a foot away. They include everything you need to assemble: screwdriver, spring pull tool, and even cloth gloves to use when handling the screen. The only thing I didn’t like is how they market this as being able to put LEDS behind it, however, I assume they are talking about the 3D cinegrey version because the manual for the cinewhite version I got, says they do not recommend using the led kit with this screen, as the bezel touches with the wall. Speaking of the bezel, it looks great. The premium feeling velvet material looks way nicer than the thick version ones. Overall, very pleased, would recommend.

Disappointing product & worse customer service
I got my screen this week. Still can't speak much yet to the quality of the screen as I've been sitting around waiting to hear back from customer support. I received a damaged center support. The pieces on the ends of the support are just plastic and one of the ends was broken when I took it out. No problem, these things happen. However, thus far I'm finding their customer support to be less than stellar. Their support hours are quite limited so I couldn't do anything that day. Instead, I sent a detailed email to the support team with pictures of the damage, giving them part numbers, my invoice and everything I could think of, so that they could just send me the part the next day. Instead, they responded and told me I had to file a warranty claim. Don't know why the rep couldn't just create the claim himself with all of the information I sent him. However, I went and did it myself, since I still had all that info handy. After quite some time, the rep finally responded back and said that he would now send the claim on to someone else for it to be processed. So what good was the first guy, why was he even in the loop? It's been crickets ever since. I tried asking the original rep what all of the run-around was for and asked for a timeline. No response. The screen might be good, but I'm already considering a refund and going with a better manufacturer. Elite screens is much more expensive than others of similar quality (using plastic in the support structure does not inspire confidence) I had hoped to at least get some service out of it. But it doesn't look like that is a priority for them. UPDATE: three days later and they still haven't even processed my claim. Since it was taking so long, I decided to just super glue the broken piece together and proceed with the installation. I got the screen together okay and went to go and install the edge pieces and LEDs. I encountered more problems. The screw holes for the sides lined up okay, but the holes on the top/bottom pieces don't line up correctly. When I screwed in one side, I found that the holes on the other side didn't line up. It was off by approximately 1/2". So, I can't install the trim pieces. All four of the top/bottom trim pieces are this way. The other issue is that the package didn't include the LED strips. I'm beginning to understand why these guys are so backlogged with claims. Three defective/missing components in one package. I can't just be that unlucky! I would completely stay clear of these guys. At this point, I'm kinda up a creek. The screen is assembled, but borderless with no LEDs. Id like to just return it, get my money back and go with someone else, but trying to dissamble and repackage everything would be a huge pain! I have zero confidence that they are ever going to make things right.

Builders beware.
First off when it’s all done screen looks awesome. Not very user friendly to install. Screen came in with wrinkles. Had to go through some minor hoops to get replacement. They sent quickly. Directions to build are terrible. Seems like they have so many models with this one not shown. To put edge border up you literally need to put screws into The back wrapped around portion of the screen. Kind of counterintuitive poorly engineered. If your relatively handy with building it’s not bad. Recommend taking your time. Again once up screen looks wonderful and the light and colors really pop from my ultra short throw projector.

Great picture and quality.
The picture on this screen is fantastic! A little tricky to assembly, easier with an additional person helping.

Tips for screen assembly
The assembly instructions are straight forward. I would suggest you assemble the frame loosely, before tightening all the bolts. Then before you cover the frame with the screen material, prop it up on two chairs in the location you envision, so that you can easily balance a long bubble level on top and mark the locations of the brackets. Level the frame with magazines, then use the frame to draw a small horizontal line at the stud location where you want to install the brackets. This really worked well. I only used one screw on each bracket, smack in the middle of a wall stud. Each bracket has three holes, but I only used the middle one. The screen isn't that heavy and two screws, one for each bracket, is sufficient to hold the weight. We used two people to move the frame and to lay it face down on the rolled out screen. The screen comes wrapped in a padded foam sheet, which is a good surface to lay the screen on face down on the carpet for final assembly. The stretchy material makes it easy to velcro one of the shorter vertical sides (16:9 format) and then the other shorter (9) vertical side. Once the two ends are done, it is merely a matter of doing the long (16) horizontal sides in a similar way. We did the long sides simultaneously, so that the tension stayed even. The end result was fantastic and because the brackets were already in place, hanging the assembled screen on the wall, was painless. Once the projector was installed, the wow-factor of this screen really became evident. I watched Planet Earth and the grand vistas of this series were amazing. It's like having your own IMAX at home. Highly recommend this screen, especially if you're going to use a high end projector.

What a mess. Nowhere does this listing mention there are different types of the screen and nowhere does it say which you are buying. See manufacturers website for the differences. I ordered on Dec 10th. Screen didn’t arrive until many 12th. (I learned later I was sent a Type Z) During assembly I notice some parts looked very different than the assembly instructions. When I had it laying down to wrap the screen it was clear the screen material was way too large. When I folded the corners, there was so much excess material that it would crumble and make a mess of the corners. Nothing like the clean corner wraps illustrated in the instructions. Then I tried installing the velvet trim. It was also too large and none of the screw holes lines up. The only way was to pierce through the wrapped edges of the screen. Again, nothing like it stated in the assembly instructions. See photo of velvet trim corner too large to come together. Luckily I was able to return this one. I order another and when it arrived, I noticed the parts and assembly were extremely different than the first one. No velvet trim, this time a black plastic trim. Much of the assembly was different, but this time everything went much more smoothly. Even wall installation was different with this one. I learned later this was a Type M. Again, nowhere does this listing describe the different types, or allow you to choose which one you want. The type Z with velvet trim was a complete mess. It seemed like the three main parts, frame, screen and trim, were all mismatched and didn’t belong together. Even the instructions were a cheap photocopy and had illustrations that did not match reality. So glad the second one I bought was better and so glad they gave a full refund for the first considering my attempts to follow the assembly instructions definitely damaged the product. This the whole process took nearly two months. Recommend browsing Elitescreen’s website and learning the differences between the Type Z, Type M and Type E before you buy. Who won’t know which you are going to receive until it arrives at your door. Finally, in the end, I am pleased with my Aeon Type M 110”. With its skinny black edge, it is challenge lining up the image to fill the screen and avoid any overflow to the wall behind. Projector alignment needs to be precise. But, overall I am pleased.

Took 2 hours to assemble but just on the last step installing the velvet bezel was a nightmare. It’s impossible to install correctly without piercing the screen and creating a new hole . I will take another chance returning this product in hopes of receiving another model .

Great value for the price, read instructions twice and you'll have no issues! Would buy again!
