Lovely. I love it. Nice and Strong
I was recommended a tea I hadn't heard of. So I tried it! It's really good and strong. Like An Assam. But it's blended with some Kenyan black teas too. It's called "Scottish Breakfast". It packs about: 9.5% naturally occurring polyphenols & 25-30mg naturally occurring L-Theanine & 42-50mg naturally occurring caffeine. per 6 ounces. --> For reference .. lol .. I drink 12oz mugs of most other black or green teas or non-tea herbal/flower/fruit/spice tisanes. -->Water too, 12oz at a time! At first I thought: oh great another "breakfast" tea blend. But this one is definitely different. Not like English or Irish "breakfast" blends. And a far cry from Australian or American breakfast blends... It's malty and strong!!! Extremely full-bodied and earthy with a slight bitter edge. I can tell it's caffeine-heavy. 😁 . The aroma is sweet and pleasant. This specifc Scottish blend I tested is not stated as organic. Many of thier products, however, are indeed organic as is the Taylor's Tribute Scottish. I'm impressed with the Taylor's business principles. They're commited to Rainforest Alliance and the Ethical Tea Partnership, Fair Trade, Sustainable Growing, pricing transparency, rewards for quality, supply chain resiliency, etc. They hold Carbon Neutral Certification and are still independently owned by the same family since 1886. (*Not been around longer than Twinings but... not many are). I can see that they fully participated in a 4-pillar Sedex SMETA audit. Which I know first-hand and up-close those audits are comprehensive and rigorously conducted 😥. I drink lots of tea. This won't replace my go-to (lifesavers) of daily pu'erh, hibiscus, rooibos because I add other junk into those like ginger, turmeric, lemon, etc. BUT... I'll definitely be adding it to the rotation with the many others I live/love to drink and I'm looking forward to *soaking it strong* for some cold tea on ice. Good stuff!

Scottish Breakfast is Terrific!
Wow! This is wonderful tea! If this tea was coffee it’s would be a French or Italian roast. If it was beer it would be a Boddington’s Ale. It’s a perfect bold morning cup of tea….very bold and malty. I don’t put milk in my tea, but if I did this would be a good one. I really like Taylor’s tea. I haven’t found one yet that wasn’t tasty, smooth and not bitter. Also, a huge 👍 for putting it in a box and not a bubble mailer!

Scottish breakfast
This tea is fantastic. It brews fast so I know its freshness is guaranteed. This tea does NOT have a strong smell or anything its so mild I can barely smell it. But the flavor is outstanding its very strong in terms of caffeine. Out of the breakfast blends (English,Irish and Scottish) this is by far the strongest. Its creamy yet has an aftertaste of coffee. Its has a smokey and malty flavor 10/10 for me

Bold flavor!
Outstanding spice blend! Great on its own, but divine with a splash of almond milk. Not for the timid palate!

Delicious. Great spice blend. Good with milk and honey as a sweet treat.

It's a good Earl Grey tea.
This is a good Earl Grey tea. It tastes a little bit different than the other brands I've tried, but it's a good difference. I can recommend it.

Rips easily
I was looking for a tea similar to TJ's Winter Wakeup. This tea is similar and I like the flavor just fine. It arrived quickly, and the price is good... The problem is the way the teabags are packaged. There is almost no space around the bag in its individual packet, and the packets are opaque, so when I tear open the packet where indicated, even when I try to just barely rip it right at the top, half the time I end up ripping the teabag itself. Maybe I'm just uniquely clumsy, but I don't seem to have this problem with any other tea brand.
