Accurate, easy with great instructions
I bought this to help my aging parents who needed to check stool for blood as my dad is on a blood thinner and believed he was bleeding into the toilet. The kit has 5 test papers, great "step by step" instructions and a positive test packet. The first test paper is thrown in the clean toilet water to make sure it is negative with no poop there. Then you have available 3 test papers for 3 separate stooling events. The fifth test paper is used in the clear toilet water with the contents of a test packet to turn it Positive ( big blue +). This helps verify the test works if all your poop test papers are negative ( no + ). We did not need to use the verification test. The poop test paper had a bold ,blue + on it, and as my dad suspected, he was bleeding. He went to the doctor with this data and was able get help.

Works as Advertised.
Read the bad reviews and wonder what the problem is. These work well and so exactly what they are designed to do.

As Easy as It Gets
For those of us who have had a completely clean colonoscopy, it may be practical to use a blood screening test. I've used fecal blood screen every year for the past 4 years - the best test is one that gets used. The only issue is the positive control. If you sprinkle the crystals on top of the paper, the color will turn orange because it is too concentrated. Make sure you follow directions. Other than that, it really doesn't get any easier. This test is not the gold standard for colon cancer screening, but it is one of the options.

A no-brainer for health
Simple to use. Simply drop strip in the bowl and check two minutes later for color change. I have been using these for years, and have not had any false positives. Terrific, medicinal screening tool for colon cancer. Affordable, easy to use, and a no-brainer

I had intestinal bleeding
My doctors were baffled. They found I had an ulcer. I’m on Elequis blood thinner. I had chronic diarrhea. Hemoglobin very low. I was so terrible weak. I began using these strips, and when I had diarrhea, always tested positive. When I had a (somewhat) bowel movement, I had no blood. THIS I KNOW…the bad diarrhea is because there s blood. I’m sure of this. However, I am a retired accountant, and don’t think the doctors are taking me seriously.

Waste of money
I have now tested our water twice. Both came out blue with nothing in the bowl. I have rinsed the bowl more than twice what was said, I did them 3 days apart and still blue. We have quality water where I live - no reason for this to continue to show up blue. Waste of money and still no answer since the test won't work properly.
