Holds a charge very well and recharges like normal. I would recommend this to a friend or family member as it's a great replacement battery for a great price! ### ⭐ Battery died within a few months *by S***H on Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2016* I ordered it in mid of October and it is dead for a while now within a few months (<6, I dont recolllect the exact duration, but this is the shortest life I have had for a laptop battery). I need to purchase a new battery again from a different seller. I understand these are way cheaper than the offical branded one from HP, but I would expect it to work for at least 1-2 years. That too, I did not use it extensively. Weekly 2-3 hours max is my current usage. Since the battery has died, I even stopped using my laptop, hence the delay in this review. The previous order from a different seller was much better lasting and lasted for almost 2 years. It's not as good as my previous battery at full capacity, but it does the job. I don't need to have my laptop plugged in at all times just to have it turn off. The time that my laptop says that the battery has left is devastatingly inaccurate, but again, as long as it keeps my laptop running then it's fine.The first battery I received actually came broken (a long crack) and it worried me so I contacted the company and they responded to me very quickly and at hours I didn't think they replied so it was great for me. Originally I wanted to give this 3 stars but I gave an extra star because they were very speedy with my next battery shipment which came with no cracks.
