Is this initially hard to assemble

Very Easy, 20-25 minutes setup and faster to break down..Roll rubber boat out, lay rubber keel down middle of floor, inflate all compartments of boat half way..(Not the keel). Install aluminum floor, bow, stern, and then midsections. Lock floor in place.. Inflate boat the rest of the way and then inflate the keel. Done, but now you have a 180 pound boat to move to the water😛.. I installed removable wheels that I bought off Amazon to the transom and even with my 130 pound 15 horse motor attached I alone can easily pick up the front and wheel it down to launch.

How long it will last?

I have only had my bris a couple of months but am very happy with this boat. The customer service is very good and I expect to get years of use from this product.

When camping, i intend to remove the engine and chain the boat to a tree or something. is there anyway to chain it other than the d-rings?

There are also two handles on each side that can be used to help secure it. You should be able to use a 1/2 in security cable which will thread through several of the D-rings at the same time. This would be about the best you could do to secure an inflatable boat I would think.

Harbor freight has a build it trailer that will work but you need to assemble it
