If this is your first time with this kind of orthotic, ease into it. There is an adjustment period.
I have high arches and suffer from Morton's Neuroma if I wear shoes without proper arch support. My podiatrist recommended an orthotic like this for me, and I purchased ones made by New Balance. I remember when I first got them, that they were a little uncomfortable to walk on (like you have a big rock in your shoe). My doctor said to take it slow at first with this type of orthotic and wear it for a few hours a day. Eventually you get to the point that you do not even realize that they are there (except that your neuroma inflammation no longer rears it's painful , ugly head). I got some new shoes recently, and wanted the same style orthotic. The New Balance one's are great, but they cost more than the shoes. I thought I would give this one a try, and I'm very happy to report that they work well, and appear to be just as good as the much more expensive New Balance orthotic. I've not had them long enough to comment on their durability, but they look to be of very good quality, and at this price point, even if they last 1/3 the time as my other orthotic, I will be money ahead. I noticed that the negative reviews all mention that the "bump" in the middle of the orthotic caused pain. I think that is just a normal part of the acclimation process for most people. If this is your first time with an orthotic like this, gradually build up the time you wear it, and soon you will not even notice the bump. I hope this review helps your decision making.

Affordable Arch Support Insoles for Walking, Back Pain & All-Day Comfort
I bought these arch support insoles for walking after taking up a daily walking routine, around 12,000 steps a day. After a while, I started experiencing lower back pain and foot fatigue. Someone at the gym suggested trying orthotic insoles, so I went to the mall where they scanned my feet and recommended custom insoles… for over $100! No way. I searched Amazon for a more affordable option and found these plantar fasciitis insoles. I’m so glad I did. These shoe inserts for back pain provided the right arch and heel support, making walking much more bearable. I noticed less discomfort in my feet and back, and I’ve been waking up with noticeably less morning pain. They fit perfectly in my sneakers and gave me the kind of cushioning and foot support I didn’t even know I needed. I’ve used them in both casual shoes and running shoes, and they’ve held up great. If you're on your feet all day or getting back into a fitness routine, these insoles for standing all day are a game changer. Highly recommend for anyone looking for affordable shoe insoles for men and women.

Your shin won't hurt but your foot will
Well, I am happy to say that my shin splints hurt way less but the bad thing is, my foot hurts like crazy if I wear it for long.

Great support - but wide (UPDATED)
The way these insoles are constructed they have a ridge that causes the insole to be wide, which pushes the instep side of my shoe out a bit. Might not be a big deal for some people but I have somewhat narrow feet and I can’t have that. I’m going to try trimming back that ridge to see if that works or not. Otherwise I really can’t use these insoles. I own a lot of types of insoles. These do seem to be well made and well padded with good arch support. So maybe they will work for you. UPDATE 3/2/2022: I trimmed the edge and the insoles do work better for my narrow feet.

Poor fit and hurt feet 👣
The arch feels hits closer to my heel instead of at the arch position. Not comfortable at all and makes my feet ache pretty bad. Ordered for women’s size 8 shoe size.

delightful for my tired feet.
These are more comfortable than the $80 insoles that i bought. I did have to take out the shoes insole, but small price to pay for comfort. They lasted about 3 months for me with a lot of use. I like that i can take out and put in another pair of shoes. They work well in enclosed shoes like boots, but not ballet or moccasin type shoes.

Surprisingly great.
I have by now amassed a bit of a collection to battle plantar fasciitis (left foot) and an inflamed metatarsal nerve (right foot). After spending nearly a fortune on shoes and insoles, this turned out to be a good surprise. Okay, $20 isn’t the cheapest, but it’s not outrageous either. It’s unique in two ways. There is an actual cushion in the arch that helps to take pressure off the metatarsal nerve. It’s a pronounced bulge, which is superior to the flat gel insets. This drive the other difference: Insoles specific to your size. That is necessary to get the bulge in the right location and eliminates the need to trim. The plantar fascia support is great, although not as unique as mentioned features above. That said, it’s on par with the best insoles in that the arch support is fairly stiff. We’ll see how they hold up, but I got a pair in my work (dress) shoes and another in my sneakers. It’s only been a week, but so far they feel great.
