We got a new filter for our pool but the fittings were for PVC installation. We wanted to use the hoses that we had and these were a perfect fit.

I bought this 3-pack of ATIE combo adapters as replacements for cracked and worn-out fittings on my above-ground pool's pump and skimmer setup (which uses a Hayward wide mouth skimmer). Overall, this is a fantastic, cost-effective replacement option for anyone dealing with standard 1.25-inch and 1.5-inch hoses. The Good (Why it earns 4 stars): The best feature is the dual-size compatibility. It handles both my older 1.25-inch hoses and the newer 1.5-inch filter hoses seamlessly, making stocking spares much simpler. The plastic feels durable and well-molded, easily threading into the skimmer and pump intakes with a reassuring firmness. The fact that you get three adapters for this price makes it an excellent value compared to sourcing individual OEM parts. They solved my vacuuming hose connection issue instantly, providing a much tighter, more reliable seal than my old adapters. The Not Quite Perfect (Why not 5 stars): The one minor issue I encountered is that the molded plastic threads, while accurate, seemed to require more Teflon tape or a slightly thicker rubber gasket than the original fittings to achieve a truly 100% watertight seal on the first try. In a couple of spots, I had a very slow weep until I applied pipe sealant to the threading. This is a common minor inconvenience with aftermarket plastic parts, but it requires a quick extra step that a perfect 5-star product wouldn't need. Summary: If you need a reliable, versatile, and well-priced set of hose adapters for a standard above-ground pool setup, look no further. Just be prepared to use a little pipe dope or extra sealing material to ensure everything is bone-dry.

They are ok but hard to clamp and prevent leaks

I was needing a diverter for a pond pump so I could use a couple decorative water spouts. I found this item after unsuccessful trips to several local stores. This was well made, substantial feel, with 3 diverter options of the hose size needed. The knob to close off or open the slots was stiff and hard to move at first but loosened up as we were trying to figure it all out. It works well with my pond allowing a small waterfall, and spitting decorative fish. Reasonable price. Easy service and delivery for a basic piece difficult to find locally. Thank you.

Worked great! Applied some teflon tape to the threads and two hose clamps to secure to the filter and didn’t leak any water out of the sides.

I used this to connect my Bestway 12ftx40" pool hoses to a Hayward SP1091LX Skimmer. I also used it to connect a Hayward SP1419E 1-inch inlet jet (eyeball). These adapters fit everything perfectly.
