The router was delivered in a sealed box. Unfortunately, the country of origin of this product is China. Coming to the installation, please note the below: 1. Jio does not support plug and use, whereas Airtel and VI both support plug in and use, with internet immediately available. However, I have detailed the procedure to set up a Jio connection, below. 2. The SIM card adaptor supplied is of poor quality and the slot to fit the Nano SIM card is big, and as such the Nano SIM card falls out. Use the SIM card adaptor that came with your SIM card. The configuration procedure to set up a Jio SIM connection card is as below (Aided by a review of Verified Purchaser Preetham): 1. Open device page with 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, username and password is admin. 2. Go to Advanced - Network - Internet 3. Data Roaming, Nat and Mobile Data: Enable. 4. Then click on Create Profile 5. Profile Name: Jio 6. PDP Type: IPv4 & IPv6 7. APN Type: Static 8. APN: Jionet 9. Username/password: Leave this blank 10. Authentication Type: None 11. Click on OK 12. Select created profile and SAVE. After the above procedure, the Jio SIM card works and internet is available. As there is no battery provided, the router will stop working when there is an interruption of electricity supply; however on resumption of electricity supply, the router gets working within seconds. Having a power back up system, will be a great advantage, to ensure that the router works continuously.

I have purchased this router 3 months back for 4500/-. If you are trying to buy this to rely on 4g wifi then this is not at all the desired router. Below are the reasons why i am suggesting you to stay away from this router. 1. The 4g network gets disconnected frequently for every few minutes. It has problem with band switching due to which the internet gets disconnected and you have to restart the router again to fix this for every few minutes. This issue was there in this model and tplink has released many firmware upgrades but none of them fixed this issue(just search in google for tplink mr 100 frequently disconnecting you will find lots of people rant on the same issue). From my experience I had to restart more than 10 times in an hour to fix this. 2. Don't expect any service/warranty from TPLink support or service center they will just reply we have verified your device and everything is good, try changing your sim card in different location. 3. The router has serious firmware problem even the router management portal 192.168.1.1 will not open at all sometimes. 3. I have found out these issues the very next day i product but you have no choice since amazon sells this product without return so you can't revert it. When asked for return the customer care person will just tell only replacement was available. 4. This tplink mr100 was not available on amazon.com usa. looks like it was being sold in india only to clear the stock. It is really surprising to know that amazon supports these kind of faulty and defective products that serves 0% of the purpose it has been brought for and has zero customer service or support. i write reviews very less frequently, But this product and amazon policy on fault product disappointed and annoyed me alot which made me write this. This is a true advice.I wish someone at least reads this and save their precious 4500\- and time.

its Super fast . and super eazy to cunnect . 101% PLUG AND PLAY its a bit costly but 24x7 internet access . good for 2BHK in Range Avrage small size . Range Exilent

It's not that good, compare to morden mobile phone, this gives lesser speed actually it's giving half of mobile speed only, it don't have dual band support and speed mentioned as 300Mbs in box is not Speed from sim

So my thoughts ekdam simple both English & Hindi So basically this router is working good and i am using Vi 4G Sim card in it with UL Plan and it works great in my area . Yes I have also tested with Jio 5G activated sim as so many people were worried about it and it too works fine no issues . • The Good thing was It supports Bsnl 4G too with B28 700Mhz Amazing Speeds and B1 With good speeds. • Airtel too works no issues with an 5G activated sim . • Its supports all band i have tested manually all Bands 1,3,5,8,28,40,41 . The small issue was internet gets stuck/disconnected which was fixed after changing location and adding manual profile to it . No issues till know i will update in future . Abb jo hindi me padne aye hai unko bata du yeh router app le sakte ho no issues sab badhiya hai bich me thoda internet disconnection issue tah woh solve ho gaya router ka place change karne seh baki sab badhiya hai app le sakte ho pura video channel ke uppar upload karunga .

Writing this review after 1 year of usage. After a lot of research, reviews, YouTube videos, I decided to go for this router even though a lot of reviews on amazon weren't upto the mark. But tbh, I'm amazed by its performance. Previously I used to keep a phone on the window and use hotspot. This router has way better network reception and WiFi range. It picks up 4g network even in places where my phone doesn't even get 2g network. I'm using VI sim, the set up was easy, more like plug and play. There's no lag or buffering while playing videos. I'll attach the net speeds I got which I have never previously gotten.

I got this setup with a supplementary data sim using circles life. It worked out of the box without any configuration. Deafult SSID and password were mentioned at the bottom of the router. Plug and play. Would recommend.

Avoid this garbage, barely two months old and router has stopped working. Amazon won't accept a return and when directed by them to contact the manufacturers you're given the run around by AI to make it as difficult as possible to get a replacement. Not only is it a terrible router, you will get no support from Amazon or the manufacturer.

Good quality working is good

الجهاز ممتاز ويغطي البيت كامل بقوه اتصال عاليه، تاكد انك تحطه بوسط البيت بالصاله مثلا. العيب انه مايدعم تردد 5Ghz بس 2.5Ghz وبحكم اني ماجربته بدور ثاني. انصح باستخدامه للشقق والبيوت الصغيره. أبداً ماينفع للبيوت الكبيره حكم ان التردد 2.4Hz يتأثر بالجدران والعوائق الاخرى. الخلاصه: 1- سعر مناسب جداً مقارنةً بدعمه لجميع الشرائح السعوديه. 2- جهاز صغير ماياخذ مساحه وغير ملاحظ. 3- يتوفر تطبيق خاص بالهاتف الجوال (Tether) للتحكم وحظر المتصلين بالجهاز (ماتبلش مع النشبه)😉. 4- اهم ميزه: نمط الضيوف بحيث يستخدمونه ضيوفك برمز واسم مختلفين ماتضطر تغير الرمز كل مره.
