They are analogue (i.e., a dial that moves along a circular scale) rather than digital. Easy to read, which is what I needed. I have given it 4 stars rather than 5 because I can't tell how accurate they are. They are reading a few degrees different from the settings I entered for the refrigerator and freezer compartments. I don't know if the settings produce accurate results inside those compartments.

Excellent! Nearly perfect. Large dial that is nice & easy to read. As accurate as it possibly could be. I would buy this again as needed.

I bought 2, one for the frig. and one for the freezer. These unit are very accurate and essy to read. They were delivered on time. It’s good to spot issues with the frig or freezer before it becomes a big problem. Definitely a good investment.

Bought one,liked it so well that I purchased 2 more. Placed all three in the freezer then into the fridge all three were within 1 degree of each other. Would highly recommend buying this item

Wife and I just bought a 4.9-cubic-foot chest freezer. It isn't fancy and doesn't have a temperature display, so I bought this thermometer to check the internal temperature. It hangs on the wire bin, the display is clearly marked with the SAFE ZONE (0 degrees and lower), and while large it doesn't take up much space at all. And it doesn't require batteries or charging. I highly recommend this product.
