SPIGEN SGP iPhone 5S / 5C / 5 Screen Protector Glass Slim [GLAS.tR SLIM] (0.4mm) Rounded Edges Glass Screen Protector Anti Chip for the NEW iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C and iPhone 5 (SGP10111) I bought this to go with my Spigen Tough Armor case, and tried to time it so my iPhone 5s, case, and screen protector would arrive on the same day. It was well worth it. The phone was sealed and I had every intent to keep it that way until the GLAS.tR SLIM was installed. I took my time wiping the screen down with a light source at an angle until I was satisfied there were no dust or dirt particles. Once the protector was set on the iPhone, at an angle, I let it settle on the screen under its own weight before applying any pressure with the squeegee. 2 bubbles on both sides of the home button were evident but with a little lifting to clear the bubbles and taking my time I managed to work them out. Surprisingly, the install was a lot easier and simpler than most the reviews I read (and I read quite a few). My 2 main concerns were bubbles, and trapped particulates, and surprisingly neither occurred. The end result is absolutely stunning. I actually take pride in wiping down my phone every now and then just to keep it looking sleek. I personally opted out of the home button stickers, and in all honesty, I don't even see the point why you would put on a home button sticker, wouldn't that interfere with the fingerprint recognition? I think it looks sexy without it. And as stated I also use the Spigen Tough Armor case with my GLAS.tR and the fit is not an issue at all. The case and GLASS.tR fit seemlessly and beautifully. *Update: Been using the Glas.tR on my iPhone 5s for a month now. Still no bubbles and surprisingly the oleophobic coating has held up. That's the thin layer coating on the surface that keeps oils from staining and smudging. I had expected it to wear off but it's been like this since day one. I wish they'd spray this stuff on my monitors and television screens lol. Couple things I wanted to mention. This glass in thick, I've seen some of the plastic screen covers my friends use on their Galaxy's and iPhones and this is definitely good quality. Also after doing some research if your debating the Glas.t or the Glas.tR my recommendation is pay the extra for the tR. I was initially confused about the rounded edges but it makes a difference. Not just aesthetics, but it keeps the glass from chipping on the edges. On top of that, without a phone cover or TPU case it feels nice running your fingers on a edge and even with a phone cover my case wraps around it very nicely. Well worth the extra $10.

Yes, it's expensive, but it's the last screen protector you will ever have to buy for your iPhone 5. And it works as advertised. No scratches, no blemishes, hard as rock, no greasy fingerprints, yet allows the full radiance of the iPhone display to shine through. I purchased this product along with the Spigen SGP SGP10365 Slim Armor S Case (also a 5-star recommendation) and the two go particularly well together. The glass protector sticks fast to the iPhone screen and rests slightly lower than the lip of the case. And I will admit to be absolutely the worst at installing plastic screen protectors and usually have gone through one or two before getting it right on my third try. So I was a little apprehensive about installing this. I spoke to customer support to ask about using the case as an alignment tool but they recommended removing the case first and then cleaning the screen thoroughly and washing hands. I live in Costa Rica so dust and gecko poop are always dropping through the air but I picked a calm day and did the job in my house at my desk under a bright light. Turn off the iPhone. I Used the supplied alcohol swab to thoroughly clean the screen and dried with the micro fiber cloth. Then just blew off any visible dust particles and tried to work fast. Started at the bottom and lined up the home button perfectly and then with fingers from both hands slowly lowered the protector lengthwise across the phone, making minor adjustments with my fingers to ensure the sides were aligned. To my delight, the screen lined up absolutely perfectly. Then I watched the adhesive spread across the screen. There were two large bubbles at either end that were easily worked out with the little card that is supplied (wrap the micro fiber cloth around it). Near the bottom, I used my thumbs to push out the remaining air bubbles. Don't press too hard. And don't forget that there is another protective piece on the top that you remove after you have squeezed out all the imperfections. You will be stunned when you remove it and turn on the phone. The clarity of the screen is superb. And the feel. So much better than plastic protectors. Like a clear coating of ice. Smooth on the fingers. No dragging or sticking. And forget the tacky home button covers they provide. You won't need them. Even pressing the home button, you are hard pressed to realize there is anything covering the screen. Then installing my Spigen case, I was happy to see that the case lip just met the edges of the screen protector forming an almost perfect seal to the screen. I might note that Amazon just dropped the price on this protector so it is a particularly good buy.

First off I was a bit hesitant on getting this as from some of the reviews I read on here mainly install issues. I can't speak for long term reliability as I just got it but so far its amazing. Feels great, fitment is seriously perfect. Very little room for error so make sure you take your time when putting it on. Be 100% sure the screen is clear before putting this on!!! Once its on I've seen people used the scotch tape method but if you just make sure you are clear ahead of time you can avoid having to pull the screen protector up. I didn't think there would be THAT big of a difference between this and the plastic crystal screen protectors Spigen sells which I've owned in this past but I was way wrong. This feels just as good as the factory iPhone screen and is absolutely crystal clear. I was SUPER anal when I installed this. I actually took a shower so the bathroom would be all steamy and then installed it. I used the alcohol wipe and also used a can of compressed air. This made my life a lot easier as drying the screen with the wipe kept leaving little lint particles on the screen that I knew would annoy me had I installed the screen protector with them on there. Something that I thought would also annoy me is the hole/gap that would be where the home button is. I was worried with this on it would feel really deep and be a pain to press the home button but it is not and I do not foresee me installing the provided jelly buttons to fill that gap. I bought this with the Spigen Neo Hybrid case which fits perfect with this screen protector which wasn't surprising given they are made by the same people are confirmed compatible on their website. In this particular case the screen protector is almost flush with the case. You can still lay it face down on the table without having to worry about to worry about it touching. Oh yeah and this screen protector comes with a back plastic protector for the aluminum. I didn't know this was included and was a nice little bonus. I installed it because I want to keep my phone in the best possible condition.

**UPDATE 9/20/14** So It's been almost a year since obtaining my iPhone 5s and the purchase of the specific screen protecter (Glass.tR Slim). After some fun adventures in Downtown Los Angeles at a rooftop bar I managed to finally crack this screen protector with a flat face drop from about the hip. The awesome thing I have to add here is I wasn't even worried about it when i lifted my phone and saw the cracks running from the corner of the screen. This protector has kept the same clarity, never showed bubbles and protected my screen in numerous accidental drops. I can vouch 100% for the Spigen Glas.tR Slim and i know it's pricey but it's slightly thicker and that's probably why it's lasted so long. I've also purchased the original glass from Spigen for my girlfriend and her mom and they haven't had any issues with chipping. So for all the reviewers out there saying it's fragile, yes duh it's glass, but what the heck are you keeping your phone in? Take better care of it, it's not magic glass, it's a screen protector. Thanks for keeping my phones screen fresh Spigen I just placed my new one on! **UPDATE** It's been 4 months now with the SPIGEN screen protector and I have had a few incidents (3-5) with dropping my iPhone 5s. I currently have an Incase SYSTM phone case that has a clear back and lifted lip, I would describe the case as durable and not for show. My Glass TR has 2 chips on it now, but i would rather it be on the glass than my actual phone. Other reviewers stating there are scuffs, scratching, chipping, cracking are probably not taking care of their phone or have the wrong case paired with it. I highly recommend getting something with a lip otherwise you could easily chip it with what ever is in your pocket. PROS: -Glass so far has done what it's advertised to do, protect my iPhone's screen with drops from 4-5 feet with my case on. -No scratching or scuffs have presented themselves, I can still see a vibrant iPhone screen with ease. CONS: -If not maintained dirt will start to collect around the edges of the screen (easy removal with alcohol and q-tip) -The two smaller pieces (camera and bottom) for the back screen protector have gone missing. After having ordered another glass for my girlfriend and applying hers on, with a SPIGEN Slim clear phone case, I found that when taking the case off or putting it on these two smaller pieces come off the phone, resulting in the possibility of losing them without knowing. -Beveled edges for GLASS TR do not really prevent chipping they just feel more aesthetically pleasing when handling phone. BOTTOM LINE: I would definitely buy another Glass from SPIGEN in order to protect the value of my smart phone. When I'm due for my next phone upgrade I will have a pristine iPhone 5S thanks to a decent case and the Glass TR. Don't expect this to be a magical force field. When you drop your phone and it isn't protected well, things have a good chance of breaking. Good product! ::::OLD REVIEW:::: This is the first time I've purchased a glass screen protector, but with my recent investment for the iPhone 5s I thought go big or go home, I would potentially love to sell this device once it's outdated. PROS: -Tempered glass -Thin yet durable -Completely compatible with the 5s. I have no trouble with the fingerprint scanner. -My phone case still fits the phone and I would assume almost any case will fit the phone. The glass leaves a tiny amount of room around the face of the phone. -Comes with back protectors! CONS: -One time application. (I got lucky and was able to lift with a razor blade to realign my first attempt) - Weird shadow effect surrounding the home button. No big deal it just made the protector look off center even though it wasn't.

After doing a bit of research on both cases and screen protectors, I decided on Spigen for both. The attributes of this screen protector seemed excellent: clear, strong, thin and the rounded edges appealed to me. I actually ordered TWO of these, one for my gold iPhone 5S and another for my son's iPhone 5C. Super easy to attach, especially since it's firm, not a flimsy film. I cant' be happier with the end result. I hardly can tell it's there it's so clear! There's only a slightly deeper depression at the home button but it's only a minor tactile difference and in no way impedes my use of the home button. And it's very reassuring, knowing my screen is REALLY protected from not only scratches but also impacts. So here's my big surprise. My wife has had Zagg film screen protectors on her iPhone 4 for over two years. Yes, that's plural -- multiple screen protectors. Her Zagg film has continued to have problems peeling back at the corners and around the home button. Weeks go by with it looking ragged before she has to contact Zagg for an exchange. Sure, Zagg has a great return policy, which my wife has had to take advantage of three times -- but why have to bother with the hassle?! I don't think I'll have to worry about edges peeling back with this glass Spigen product! Also, at it's best, my wife's Zagg looks cloudy and dulls out the screen images. And it is VERY difficult to install -- there are always bubbles and bits of lint that get attracted to the film somehow. In contrast to my experience now of installing two Spigen screen protectors and having them line up PERFECTLY -- with the firm glass it's easy to align it just microns above the phone and then let it drop into position. Try that with flimsy film!

Over the last year and a half, I have purchased and installed four Spigen Glas.tR screen protectors for three iPhones. All have worked flawlessly. One protected my iPhone 5 from a drop of about 2 feet that landed flat on the screen. The Glas.tR took the brunt of the fall and cracked from top to bottom, but it was still usable. More importantly, however, my iPhone screen stayed intact! I immediately ordered a replacement Glas.tR protector and installed it on my phone. The tempered glass used by Spigen has a better feel than the original glass used on the iPhone. By feel I mean smoother. Your finger effortfully glides over the glass. The protector also sports an oliophobic treatment that repels oils from your face and hands. The product is expensive, but worth every penny. The install can be a little tricky, but as recommended by others, I installed all four in my bathroom after running the shower for a few minutes to steam up the room and reduce dust in the air. I then used the supplied alcohol wipe to completely clean the screen of all dirt and oil. I used the enclosed microfiber cloth to finish the cleaning screen. With the phone lying on the bathroom countertop in landscape mode, I handled the screen with the index finger and thumb of each hand and stood over the phone, gently lowering the protector to the screen. As I closed the distance to the phone, I used the overhang of my index fingers and thumbs to align the protector with the phone's screen. As the protector touched the center of the screen, I was able to make minor adjustments to the alignment of the protector and the phone's screen. Once it's down on the screen though, it's down. I've used this method on four installments and all four have aligned perfectly. I highly recommend this product.

I will never go back to the plastic film screen protectors again! This product is superb and totally worth every penny! For many years now I have used all different kinds of the flimsy plastic screen protectors, from the super cheap to the top of the line [invisible shield] and you can always tell that there is something on the screen. The screen never feels as good as when the device is fresh out of the box without a protective cover on it. The Spigen SGP GLAS.tR SLIM restores your phone to it's original glory by providing a smooth glass surface just like [if not better] than the original device screen while adding scratch and crack protection. Compared to an original iPhone 5 without any protector on the screen, the GLAS.tR SLIM seems to provide a bit slicker surface and retains little to no fingerprints. PROS +Easy to install without bubbles [much easier than the flimsy plastic protectors] +Stronger protection than other plastic protectors +Super-smooth feel +Little to no fingerprints +Comes packaged with lots of extras! [back protective film, home button stickers, micro fiber cloth, squeegee, alcohol wipe] CONS -Price [may be a con to some, but I assure you that this product is well worth the investment, especially to protect a device worth hundreds of dollars] -May not work with certain cases [Have not tested this yet] This product is definitely worth the investment for those who care about maintaining the condition of their devices without losing functionality. Spigen SGP takes care of their customers with plenty of added goodies packaged in with this outstanding glass protector. From now on, I am convinced that glass screen protectors are the only way to go!

I have tried other glass screen protectors. Spigen makes the one that feels closest to the original screen. The iPhone screen is the single most likely part to be damaged. The internals seem to take a better beating, but that screen will crack easily when dropped. More important than a protective case I think protecting the screen should be the priority. Those plastic protectors can work (both rigid and elastic), but they don't afford the same kind of impact protection tempered glass does. Also tempered glass gives you the feel of the original iPhone screen as well. Spigen's GLAS.tR line of screen protectors feel so amazingly close to the original glass that you would be hard pressed to notice the difference by touch. The screen is relatively easy to apply, and if you make a mistake you can still take it out and reapply maybe once or twice if you do it soon after you put it in. The protector covers just about the entire screen with just less than a millimeter exposed. So close that many times you will not notice... even if you are looking/feelint for it. Best part is I was able to apply it on the phone with no air bubbles for a seamless attachment. I'm can't say enough how much I love this screen protector. It's like I don't have anything at all it's so smooth. Give your phone the best protection and best feel.

Best screen protector available for the 5S. I've had it installed on my phone for several months, and the quality of the protector has shown its worth. Fits great, looks great, great coverage. Good resistance to fingerprints. Screen looks just as good as without a screen protector on. May be more expensive than other options, but its worth it, in my opinion.

Ragazzi, una pellicola fantastica! Il vetro è rifinito in maniera eccellente, e la dotazione di accessori è veramente utilissima. Nella confezione troviamo: - due pellicole di vetro, imbustate singolarmente - due confezioni di salviette "wet & dry" - un set di adesivi - un panno pulizia Allora, prima di tutto un consiglio personale: pulite bene l'area di lavoro, per evitare che polvere o sporco finiscano sul telefono. Fatto questo, aprite la bustina contrassegnata con il numero 1 (wet - bagnata), e usatela per pulire a fondo lo schermo. Ora la bustina numero 2 (dry - asciutta) per rifinire e asciugare bene il tutto. Se necessario, infine, potete usare il panno grigio per dare un'ultima passata. Ora il passaggio più importante: staccate l'adesivo blu con scritto "dust-absorber" e usatelo per tamponare lo schermo. In pratica, attaccatelo e staccatelo più volte passando sull'intera area dello schermo, in questo modo catturerete anche i granelli di polvere più piccoli e difficili da individuare ad occhio nudo. Sfilate quindi il vetro dalla sua custodia e togliete la pellicola di protezione, ovvero quella a cui è attaccata un'apposita linguetta con scritto "Back - remove". In questo modo scoprirete la parte che andrà appoggiata sul telefono. Vi suggerisco di posizionare il telefono in orizzontale, in modo da avere un colpo d'occhio migliore. Ora usando le due linguette tonde ai lati della pellicola, centratela sullo schermo e adagiatela fino a farla aderire. Essendo rigida, non sarà necessario premere o spingere per eliminare l'aria, in quanto la pellicola aderirà perfettamente da sola. Se il risultato vi soddisfa, togliete la protezione superiore ed il gioco è fatto! Il risultato è eccellente, il display non perde di luminosità o resa nei colori, il touch è sensibile esattamente come prima e lo spessore aggiuntivo non infastidisce minimamente...anzi, se proprio devo dirla tutta, il "buco" intorno al tasto home crea un leggero bordino che aiuta (secondo me) a centrare meglio il dito sul lettore d'impronte. Anche la telecamera frontale, pur coperta dal vetro, non perde minimamente di risoluzione o altro. Che altro dire, prodotto straconsigliato!!!

2017年に購入。４年間使用し、先日、iphoneを画面下にして落下させてしまいました。ガラスフィルムにはまっすぐに線が入りましたが、触っても支障ないレベル。そのままでも問題ありませんでしたが、もう１枚残っていたので、早速貼り直ししました。貼った直後は、画面真ん中に大きな気泡が残って、すごくショックだったのですが、朝起きたら、綺麗に消えていました（説明書にも記載されていました）。画面保護としての性能、４年使っても問題ない耐久性、気泡の残らない貼りやすさ、全てにおいて大変優れたガラスフィルムです。

Ich habe die Schutzfolie mit dem Spigen Neo Hybrid Metal Slate Case für mein iPhone 5 SE bestellt. Ich habe noch nie eine Folie so einfach auf ein Smartphone befestigt. Das Auftragen der Folie war super simpel und dank der Hilfslaschen noch einfacher als ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Die Folie hält wie versprochen, sitzt bombenfest, und verrutscht nicht. Die Panzerglasfolie ist leicht an den Seiten abgerundet damit sich der Übergang besser anfühlt. Wenn sie richtig aufgetragen wird, bilden sich auch keine Blasen. Selbst wenn dies der Fall sein sollte (kleine Blasen) hält SPIGEN wie versprochen ihr Wort, denn diese sind nach ca. 24 Std. einfach weg!!! Die Stärke von 3mm ist optimal und es fällt kaum auf das sich eine Schutzfolie auf dem Handy befindet. Die Folie ist nun schon eine Weile auf meinem Handy (in Verbindung mit dem Spigen SGP10360 Neo Hybrid Metal Slate Case) und es sind keinerlei Kratzer oder Luftblasen zu erkennen. Ich bin SEHR zufrieden obwohl ich anfangs meine Bedenken hatte, da solche Panzerglasfolien das Display nicht immer richtig schützen sollen. Bei Bekannten von mir welche ihre Folie von irgendwelchen "No Name" - Herstellern gekauft haben, sind nach Stößen / Herunterfallen große Risse auf dem Display entstanden jedoch ihre Schutzfolie heil geblieben. Bei dieser Folie von SPIGEN bezweifle ich ähnliche Ärgernisse und kann sie beruhigt weiter empfehlen.

El producto viene con dos protectores para instalar. Se instala de una forma bastante fácil, ya que tiene dos zonas para agarrar a cada lado, con lo que se puede ajustar perfectamente en la zona que se quiera. Viene además con una gamuza, una toallita y unos adhesivos (que podían haber sido un poco más adhesivos) para limpiar previamente la superficie. Recomiendo que paséis primero el adhesivo para quitar las partículas más grandes y después la gamuza para limpiarlo un poco más. Y finalmente, pasar la toallita para eliminar las partículas de polvo más pequeñas y las fibras que haya dejado la gamuza, que alguna que otra suelta y por mucho que la volváis a pasar, algún hilito va a quedar. Con la toallita se puede dejar impecable. Y luego ya con un poco de paciencia se pone el protector, dejándolo caer sobre la pantalla y tocando ligeramente el centro del mismo para que se adhiera él solo, como una ola, por toda la pantalla. Queda perfecto, no se nota que está puesto, parece resistente, el tacto es muy agradable, como si fuera la pantalla propiamente y no quedan las típicas marcas de grasa sobre él que hacen ese efecto arcoíris tan molesto. En definitiva, muy recomendable.
