Gioia e dolore a Lima

Difficile rendere meglio l'atmosfera e il sapore della vita a Lima. Le vicende dei popolani protagonisti si svolgono tutte con sullo sfondo le montagne brulle che circondano la capitale, all'interno di cortili e costruzioni dello stesso colore delle montagne. La protagonista Fausta (che ha bevuto il latte della paura) rappresenta il dolore profondo delle vicende del Perù, mentre tutto intorno la sua famiglia incarna la volontà (e capacità) di rallegrarsi comunque delle piccole gioie di tutti i giorni. Perfetta la scelta della colonna sonora (tutta sudamericana) a corollario del film.
