This exactly what I wanted. The headphones are the perfect size just covering my ears. The sound is great. I cannot believe these were only $20.

Easy Plug and play good combo with a ROKU TV control.
Just what I needed. I was using earbuds so as not to disturb the wife at night watching TV or Black Sabbath. My ears were getting annoyed. These Sony headphones are perfect for plugging into my ROKU remote. Sounds much better and comfortable. I would have prefered some separate battery volume control. My ROKU control would last much longer if I could control volume on the Sony headphones. However, with a full charge on the ROKU I can listen for 8 plus hours. I do not want bluetooth... just plug and play. I would recommend them anyway and the price is competitive.

Long lasting functionality
NOTE: The attached pictures are of my (six year old) pair. I bought an identical pair (same brand, color, etc) a few years back when I graduated high school. I really liked them and they are an affordable price, so I bought this pair for my sister. My pair has worked well all these years and still provides excellent sound quality. It has been almost six years and they are just now starting to wear. The ear cushions are tearing off and a tiny bit of the paint is beginning to chip - and this is after almost daily use for five and a half years and carrying them around in my backpack half the time. I personally don't mind the tearing as they still hold together well enough and I don't notice the tearing when wearing the headphones - the cushion itself is still good. The mic still works great and so does the sound functionality. I imagine they will last many more years to come. These headphones are adjustable and the ears are even labeled: "R" for "Right ear"; "L" for "Left ear".

Not great for desktops, but seem to be a good alternative to earbuds for your phone.
I bought this for desktop use, but it turns out that the user manual says they are only compatible for smartphones. They work with a PC, but the cord is only about 4 feet, so not very practical for a desktop. Also, the sound balance was very loud upon plugging it in for the first time; I had to reduce my level from 100% to 10%. Quality is OK, maybe a little tinny or sharp on the high tones. They are small and lightweight but fit my big head comfortably enough. Get these for a cheap portable set to use with your phone, or maybe a laptop. (The manual says they may not work with music players and the microphone may not work with unsupported phones. I didn't test the mic.)

May be smaller in size to what appears but still what I wanted

I have had it for just under 3 years, sits comfortably on my ears. I love the sound quality and the heavy bass. It feels very cheap because of the plastic construction but you can't beat the price.

These headphones are super comfortable to wear for long durations. They're lightweight and adjustable. I prefer over the ear headphones to on the ears, but this pair is an exception. The cushions on these headphones are thin and soft so they don't press down on the ears like most on the ear headphones. The sound quality is great for the price. I only use them indoors so I didn't require noise cancellation so these work well for me. If you're looking for headphones that cancel noise or something to wear on the go, I wouldn't recommend these. The wires aren't the best so I'm not sure they'd withstand daily commute on say public transport, but they're portable and foldable so they'd fit right in your backpack. The design is pretty early 2000s, classic Sony, and it takes me back and I love that because this design feels more comfortable, functional, lightweight with no fluff - compared to all the bulky headphones that are going around right now. I'm not sure how long these are going to last because they do feel delicate, including the cushions, but for the price paid I'm pretty satisfied.

PROS: - very balanced sound quality, deep bass without being overpowering, clear mids and sparkling highs, with a very perceptively flat response. Also easy to drive, so you don't need to crank these phones with tons of volume (although they can handle a lot of volume). They're not studio-referenced or audiophile, but if you're stuck on a desert island, these will do very fine. - Microphone is also very good quality, picks up well and its sound quality is perfectly suited for voice communication and does in pinch without needing a mic on an arm like most traditional headsets. Also works fine with conventional stereo 3-lead TRS headphone jacks. - folds well, durable (with one exception, see the Cons) and looks inconspicuous enough, they look their price, but they are comfy, and unlike a lot of other inexpensive headphones that require to break them in for about 20-60 hours so that they sound their best, these ones are good to go from the moment you plug them in for the first time. CONS: - Although they are decent to cutting out some level of ambient noise, they're not noise-cancelling. - The 1.2 m or 4 ft. cord isn't long enough. Sony really should at at least add another foot or two to their headphones of this category. - Also, their 90-degree angled plug is the one weak spot about these headphones - it wears down eventually, no matter how careful you are with them. I've had this exact model before in red, and it lasted about 3 years. I didn't baby them and I've used them everyday, but eventually, that weak spot gives out. For the price of these phones, is it worth it? That would be up to you, of course. Thanks for reading!
