This ring has turned out to be way more useful than I thought. It’s sturdy, has a good grip, and opens wide. I do use it to hang my purse at restaurants, but I’ve ended up reaching for it for so many other things. It hugs a door perfectly to hold a hanger while I’m steaming clothes, works great for hanging a toiletries bag on a hotel shower door, or a purse on a bathroom stall door when there is no hook. I always clip a small necessities pouch to the seat in front of me on a plane - economy seat pocket get smaller and smaller, and very often are unsanitary. I use it to clip a grocery bag inside my car so it doesn’t tip over and spill. Simple idea, solid quality, and one of those things you don’t realize you need until you have it.

Very hand and sturdy, not easy to scratch, and it's just a nice piece to touch

Didn't know I needed this, but within a day or two of receiving my order, I was already using it. It is surprisingly easy to use; just open the circle, loop your purse handles inside, and hang the edge of the circle on a table/over a bathroom door. There is rubber on it that provides friction and keeps your bag up. And it's strong! I'm known for carrying a relatively heavy purse (10+ pounds - and yes, it's bad for posture), but it has held my purse with absolutely no problem. I didn't measure how long I had my purse on the hook, but rest assured, it will hold your bag for quite a while. It seems to be quite a sturdy and durable ring, and worth every penny. Overall I'm very pleased. The gold matches my purse perfectly and it looks very stylish. I want to buy one of these for everyone I know that carries a purse or bag with them. Gone are the days of me fearfully holding my purse in bathrooms and restaurants and hospitals to avoid setting it on the nasty floor!

Absolutely in love. This is quite pricey for a piece of metal and I hesitated a long time before purchasing this but after I did, i bought another one. I have 2 now. This is super sturdy--I use this with my workbag which has to weigh at least 10lbs on a good day. I have my laptop, charger, headphones, portable battery, glass lunch box, notebook, all my random stuff and etc in a tote bag. This clip handled it with no problem. It has little pads to prevent any slipping. I live in nyc and like to go out for dinner after work--restaurants are cramped with limited space for my bag so this solves my problem. I bought a second one because i kept forgetting to switch it between my small purse and work purse. I like the big ring because it's super slim and super easy to grab out of my bag. I will have to say, if the table is too thick, you're not going to be able to use this hook.
