Backyard Discovery Tall Spiral Tube Slide - Left Exit, Green - Mounts to 5 Ft. Deck Height

We installed the Backyard Discovery Tall Spiral Tube Slide inside our home for our children, ages 3 and 1, and it has quickly become a favorite activity. The assembly was surprisingly easy, and the instructions were clear enough to get it set up without any issues. The materials feel sturdy and durable, which gives me confidence that it can handle daily use and energetic play indoors. The spiral design makes it exciting for the kids. They love climbing up and spiraling down repeatedly, and it adds a playful, adventurous element to our indoor space. The right-exit placement works perfectly for our layout, and the smooth edges and gentle curve at the bottom make it safe for toddlers while still feeling like a “big kid” slide. Watching our little ones laugh and run up and down has been such a joy, and I can already tell this slide will create lasting childhood memories. It’s a high-quality, safe, and fun piece of indoor play equipment that any parent would be happy to have. It has completely transformed part of our home into a playful space the kids look forward to every day.

Very sturdy, they missed the instructions we had to google them, it’s a 2-3 person job to put together, definitely not easy. Our kids LOVE it!

Doesn't come with everything...no screws to mount to tower, I used # 14 stainless steel 1" pan head for the top & bottom holes (8)...1 1/2" pan head for the sides (10) ...SKU...2331777 & 2331776 from Menards....bout $9...Probably not the best thread for this application but I think it will work. The head of the screw fit perfectly in the side bezel holes even though the screw circumference could (should) have been bigger. just couldn't find a screw with the correct size head and correct circumference at Menards. also missing was the right angle phillips screw driver tool. Not really necessary for the driver part but would have been handy as a hole line up tool. This part was in the parts list in the (very helpful) manual. Good price and seams good quality but I feel it should have come with mounting screws.

I’ll be definitely sad if I wrote a review to mention that it was extremely time consuming to put together and he felt like it could’ve been fabricated in a way for them to slide into each other instead of all these pieces you screw on the outside. However I told him that may make it more costly. Other than that it’s fantastic we love it our son has been sliding on it since we got it I have even sit on it several times and even hubby slid on it once.

Installed this in the tail end of 2023. It's March 2025 and there are a variety of stress cracks where the slide pieces bolt together. Bear in mind my kid was 2 when it was installed - he was afraid of it the first summer and used it less than once each time he went outside the second year, so it lasted maybe 50 slides by a 3yr old before it started falling apart. No idea how long until it becomes dangerous now that he's 4 and old enough to be excited about it. Had the same crappy delivery experience that others have mentioned - it arrived in a barely-held-together container and had to check carefully that no pieces were missing. Save some hassle and just buy a better slide from a local shop to begin with.

It did NOT come with assembly instructions and had to download them on my phone which was inconvenient. A small corner piece was also chipped upon delivery But But the slide is sturdy and was the perfect addition to my son's fort.

High quality materials but assembly is a nightmare. Top of slide did not fit opening in play structure so I literally had to construct a new frame around the top tube section and then attach that to my play structure. Directions were not very clear. Because of this I was never sure I was putting it together correctly so I left all bolts and nuts loose in case I had to disassemble a section and redo it. Once I saw that I had finished assembling it correctly I then went back and tightened everything down.

After putting it all together (including the metal brackets), the slide seems pretty sturdy. My kids are in the 6 year old range and love sliding and climbing back through it. Couple adults went through it and it seemed to hold well but not sure if long term adult use would sustain (so keep them at bay)

Easy to install. Did it solo in couple hours Kids love it. What more can I say. 5 stars
