I discovered the Davines Oi line about 11 years ago and this was one of the first products I started using. I’ve never looked back and have continued to use this for over a decade. Occasionally I’ll try a different leave in conditioner because I get drawn in by marketing but I have never ever found anything that even comes close to being as good as this! I always go right back to it. It’s so lightweight but really set angles and provides a lot of nourishment and shine, it helps protect against heat damage and seems to speed up my blow dry time, I also like using a small amount on dry hair for 2nd day re-styling and it’s great for that. It truly cuts down on frizz and static. The scent is incredible, it’s like nothing I’ve ever smelled before; just really warm and comforting but it’s so subtle and would not be overwhelming for anyone who is sensitive to scents. A little goes a long way (one of the small bottles lasts me just shy of a year and I have thick medium length hair) so it’s worth the cost. It’s perfect for normal hair and dry and damaged. I really can’t recommend this enough! No oily feeling just smooth, sleek, and silky! Just buy it, you won’t regret it!

My favorite leave in conditioner to moisturize my hair! It works so well and leaves my hair shiny and soft. I have long hair and use ~5 sprays throughout then brush it through. It has a nice subtle smell and the bottle lasts until the product is gone. This is also a pretty clean product and made it Italy- so love these aspects as well.

If you knew me, you’d know I’m very sensitive to smells, most hair products are so strong they give me a headache or make my skin break out around my hairline. But this one? It’s the total opposite. I have thick, wavy hair with tons of volume but very fragile, thin strands, not exactly the easiest combination to deal with. And living in a state with very harsh water doesn’t help either. This product cuts through all of that. All I need is a Wet Brush and about 5 or 6 sprays, and my hair instantly feels soft, smooth, and completely tangle free. No heaviness. No greasy film. Just healthy, shiny hair that behaves like it had a good night’s sleep 😄✨ 🌿 Ingredient & origin note: This leave in is made in Parma, Italy, where Davines formulates and produces everything in their own labs. It’s powered by roucou oil, packed with antioxidants and beta carotene to help protect and strengthen hair, along with panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), vitamin E, and sunflower seed oil to soften and hydrate. While it does contain a light fragrance and some smoothing agents, I’ve never experienced any irritation, the scent stays soft, not overwhelming. 💡 Helpful tip: I’ve found that applying it to damp hair and then brushing through once distributes the product perfectly. No need to overdo it. A little goes a long way, which makes this luxe product last a surprisingly long time. I’ve tried other leave ins over the years, but nothing else has worked this well while being gentle on both my skin and senses. Not sure how I stumbled across this most excellent product, but many reviews talked about how good it smells... so i started with the smaller travel size to test it out. And yes, it *really* works well on my fine hair, and smells soooo good. The first day I kept wondering what perfume I had on, then remembered that I had used this on my hair. Not that you're wafting around in a cloud of scent, but it's just very pleasant. Kind of woodsy but fresh, easily a uni scent (I also love Maison Louis Marie's Bois de Balincourt perfume, not that it smells like that, but it's kind of the same direction). My hair feels silky and bouncy (no frizz!), although one day I went enthusiastically overboard with the spray and it was all a little flat. Live and learn. I also love that it comes in a travel size and full size –– I will just refill the small one from the larger size so I can take it with me on adventures. I've already signed up for a subscription because I never want to be without this lovely product.

My hair dresser uses Davines products so that's how I got to know both the brand and this particular product. It feels really good, I apply it everyday to help protect and brush my long, damaged hair and has a wonderful fragrance that stays with you for hours. I even bought it as a gift to share this discovery with my best friend!
