What sizes does the set start at and go through

The set is measured in 16ths running from 3/8" up to 7/8"

Does anyone know the torque calculation when using it with your torque wrench? Subtraction of the torque reading I'm sure.

In order for Torque to be true to what you have the Torque wrench set at , the Dog Bone, or Crows Foot needs to be at a 90 degree angle to the wrench. If you have it straight out, you have to calculate the extended length from the square drive of the wrench. The formula is M1 = M2 x L1 / L2 M1 is the torque setting of the wrench M2 is the actual torque applied to the nut L1 is the normal length of the wrench measured from the hand held end of the wrench to the square drive center. L2 is the extended length of the wrench measured from the square drive to the new center of the adapter. Keep everything at 90 degrees if you can and you get true torque. This may require removing the dog bone and repositioning without ratcheting until you get the click Hope this helps I believe there is also an APP you can download for calculations

Is there a metric proto set?

There isn't, unfortunately. Napa sells their Carlyle version in metric. Sunex makes a metric set. Also available from Matco, Snap On, Cornwell, and random no-name imports. Looks like Armstrong metric ones are discontinued.
