I Broke My Butt!: The Cheeky Sequel to the International Bestseller I Need a New Butt!

I am 8; my sister is 6. We love it when our grandma reads this to us. We like the other butt books too.

I bought several of these for my 7 y/o granddaughter and she absolutely loved them. Highly recommend them, kids love them!

This book is hilarious. My grandsons and I laugh so hard every time we read it. Lots of jokes woven throughout the story. Cute pictures as well.

I would not want this to be read with the frequency of 'Cat in the Hat' or other classics, but it is a helpful bridge to allow kids to laugh about the funny elements of the human body, while learning to respect other people's tolerance levels about potty humor. Grandma's message to them was 'limit the potty jokes or the book won't be read to you.' Yet the old bat did invest in the whole butt-related series. Because in my youth, a kid got smacked and sent to meditate on the sin of speaking that way, which did not really eliminate curiosity in the least. Also discussed was "you won't be able to have a Butt Joke festival when you go to kindergarten, so let's learn to ease up on that stuff."

My 8 year old enjoys reading this book and she’s been reading it every night at story time, she says there’s too much butt cracks in the pictures though. There’s a butt on every page! We get it though. It’s a book about a broken butt. It is cute and silly to read. We would definitely buy again!

A couple of years ago, I purchased the first of this series, as one of many books to take to the beach. My grandsons loved it and asked Mimi to read it over and over again. When I saw this new sequel to I Need a New Butt, I snapped it up with several others for our Vineyard trip. The grandsons hooted and hollered when they saw it and we spent many fun days reading all of our books. When things get too rowdy in the beach house in the evening, just grab your stack of books and park yourself on the comfy couch and the grandkids will follow!
