I hope they never discontinue this product! The compact lasts a long time even with daily use 2x a day (once in the morning and a touch up in the early evening). It is a dry compact. I apply it over liquid foundation with a full thick powder brush. I love that it does NOT produce excess 'dust' when swirling my brush in it (that 'dust' which is produced with other compacts wastes product and requires constant brush tapping and also leads to heavier layers no matter how much you tap). I even powder my eyes to dry out my lashes for great mascara application and this powder is so light that it doesn't magnify fine lines or pores. It's amazing and I always have a few extra backup just in case they decide to discontinue (this brand discontinued a mineral blush which I loved).

At 1st I didn't enjoy this product because 4 me it basically only worked as a setting powder w/ a bit more coverage, I found alone as a mineral foundation I didn't get enough coverage & it's hard to build up powders (mineral products) because they can get cakey very fast. But, after having it hang out in my drawer for a while I pulled it out 1 day I had stone dark circles under my eyes & I used it to set my under eye concealer & add some extra coverage (more than my normal setting powder, like I said), it worked great this way, u can even "bake" w/ it . (anybody thinking wth? Just look up under eye baking or concealer baking) Also, I went & got the med shade (I'm normally light) to use as a warmer powder/ bronzer & love it this way too. Finally, I use it to contour in a hurry sometimes. I find the extra coverage of it being a foundation, plus the shade med is great 4 contour on my skin tone works will together. Anyone who has breakouts sometimes (adult acne ;(...knows that blush & contour over a breakout can look muddy & weird. Well this works so well when I have a breakout, because like I said it works as a powder contour, good shade, but the extra coverage gets rid of the breakout peeking through. Normally when contouring over a breakout, it is easy to wear away the foundation or concealer over a breakout while applying it, this prevents that cause u are adding more coverage! ....but let me say if u are looking for a med to full coverage mineral foundation to wear alone, this is not it! Light to med coverage max...try Loreal true match mineral foundation for med to full.
