Highly recommend if you have a bench mounted grinder not on a pedestal
This thing is awesome. Getting it set up right the first time is a tiny bit challenging but not too bad. Works great once it is set up

a great drill sharpener
does a great job with drills 1/8 thru 3/4. You get the same sharpness every time and it is quick. Look at some youtube videos for better instructions.

helpful to sharpen larger twist drills
Works good. However you must attach this to a bench grinder that is on a bench-top with the grinder set back a bit from the edge of the bench top. Could not mount it when the grinder was on a post stand

Difficult to get set up.
This drill bit sharpening tool is intended for the hobbyist who has the need to sharpen a few bits occasionally. One major problem is you have to use a bench grinder and mount both to a solid surface at different heights. It functions pretty well but takes some experimenting to get it right. It will sharpen a bit correctly. It's not recommended for very small bits.

Don't suffer with dull bits
Well I am impressed with this tool. It makes sharpening drill bits fun.

Save money ,sharpen those bits yourself!
Easy set up . Practiced on a couple of cheap bits to learn. Within ten minutes I was sharpening $100 bits. Works great. I had hundreds of bits thrown aside because no one around sharpened them. I have plenty now and they look and work as a new one.

It held the drill bit securley. And was easy to adjust length. Sharpened my carbide drill bits. Saved money

Good value, a little challenging to get good alignment.
When aligned does a fairly good job. Much better than drill doctor. Take a little time to get bit and guide to engage correctly. I use mine with a diamond wheel.

Does a good job, but bit fiddly to set up. Replaced couple of the adjustment screws with hand screw adjusters, as this makes setting different drill size bits much quicker and more accurate. Once set up properly to grindstone it works very well. Take your time getting the angles right and practice with a couple of old drills and results will be good. Did a lot of blunt drills, which now cut really well, set the cut angle to shallow cut for hard metals, excellent results through thick steel.

Love it, I have tried many jigs for drill sharpening without much success. This jig like most great inventions is simple to use and does a great job.
