This fit perfect for a 2004 Civic. I bought this and the hood release cable with switch. Both were easy to install and they function perfectly.

Quick and easy installation on my 04 Civic. Took about 20 minutes to pull out the old latch and put in the new one. A tip for more space would be to pull out the 4 fasters in the grill around the latch for the (3) 10mm bolts that need to come out. The latch also has slots where bolted allowing for adjustment up and down for a better catch.

For some reason it didn’t lined up with the frame holes for the screws, it seems a little bit wider/larger than the OEM, or my car frame was bent a little bit so it couldn’t get installed. Otherwise it looks a good quality part Civic 2005 EX Sedan
