Ultimate Tailgate Seal with Taper Seal for GMC Sierra with MultiPro Tailgate and Chevrolet Silverado with Multi-Flex Tailgate

A bit finicky to install on GM MultiFlex tailgates because there are so many different areas to be sealed but there's no way around that. It cuts easily, the adhesive allows you to reposition it a couple of times while still adhering well once you do. The instructions are good, although I did end up modifying their suggested installation orientation a bit and had to add a second piece of seal in one place beside the recommended section to get a final seal. They give you plenty of extra seal. My one frustration is one we have with everything that comes with adhesive that has a plastic strip protecting it that you have to peal off. Starting to peal that protective plastic off can be annoyingly difficult at times. Not a reason to mark this product down...just something to be aware of. In the end, this worked. My truck bed is basically pristine after driving on a dusty road and gravel driveways.

I WAITED A AWILE to review this seal kit. put it on my 2025 chevy 2500 hd with the multi flex tall gate. what a dust leaker that is with a camper shell i could fill up the back end with a lot of dust! Well i don't have that problem anymore. Did it stop all the dust no but it did stop most of it very little get in there now. make sure you clean all surfacer before installing. Work great!!!!!!!!!!!!

this product comes with everything you need to install. Came with a bunch of alcohol wipes. when all is said and done, I’m sure it will help the problem that I find is some of the locations where this is adhered to will eventually fall off, just based off a use. There was leftover so if this happens, you can replace.

When I ordered this kit for my 2022 GMC 3500 HD and had not read the reviews, nor did I check on compatibility with the HD truck, which is different from the 1500 truck. So after reading the reviews I got worried that maybe this would not work. One reviewer actually gave it a very low rating stating it absolutely did not work on his HD truck. Well, here is the truth. This kit is made up of roll good. It is not pre cut to specific lengths which gives you all the flexibility you need to install this product, frankly, on any tailgate. What makes it multi-pro specific is the amount of roll good you get and the specific instructions for the multi-pro tailgate. I had a couple of feet of the smaller seal left and about a foot of the larger seal left. This is great because there are some short pieces that are used to finish off a seal that I expect will eventually let loose. Now I have enough material to replace those in the future. Overall, very pleased and like that the mid gate is also sealed.

This seems like OEM quality and was really easy to install. I will buy it again when I get a new truck.

I purchased this for my 2019 multipro tailgate to help keep most of the dust out of my bed as I live on a gravel road. The seal seems mostly good, but doesn’t provide full coverage for the multipro tailgate as there’s no seal for the bottom of the inner tailgate and there is a small gap that allows noticeable light/air at the top of the inner tailgate as well between the hard plastic top/grip and the metal of the tailgate. Since there was a little extra seal provided, I tried to take care of the small gap with some trial and error, but there’s no way to seal the bottom of the inner gate with what was provided. Another issue that brings my confidence down is one of the small pieces that attach to the tailgate itself fell off about a week after I installed it. I followed instructions to a T (paper/online and video for clarity) including keeping the tailgate down the appropriate amount of time to allow the adhesive to set, which is disconcerting. Where it attaches solely to metal it seems decent, but that there are still gaps and a piece fell off, the result is definitely underwhelming.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this seal for my Multi Flex tailgate because I noticed whenever I drive down dusty roads my truck bed is always filled with dust and dirt. After installing the seals as directed by the instructions I've seen a big difference in the before and after! There is nearly no dust or dirt being sucked in through the gaps in these multi open tailgates!! I have a retractable roll-up cover and it's sealed pretty good but dirt and dust was still finding it's way in. These seals looks to have stopped this from happening. Things in my truck bed have been staying a lot cleaner since the seals have been in place! This is for those who have covered beds that want to protect what they have back there from being covered in dust and dirt! It really worked!!!

The Ultimate Kit came with everything required to complete the installation. Missing a few instructions on the supplied instructions, but many online videos available so went well. deviated in a few spots from instructions for what seemed a better solution. Happy with product and delivery was on time.

Package came perfect condition until you open the box, sealed bag containing item was torn open, all peices were intact and in good shape, the installation was a chore, the instructions were hard to follow, but persistence prevailed , got job done, seams to do the job, we will see

So far so good but haven’t driven in the rain to see if it keeps the water out.

I was skeptical about the product, but it works. I drive on gravel roads and I am no longer filling up the box with dust. (The box is covered) The installation instructions are good but I had to YouTube the instructions to get it right. Great product.
