Best Flavor of ANY Coffee
This Columbia Huila is one of the best coffees I have in my arsenal. I have ground around 100 different whole bean coffees, and this is the coffee I come back to day after day. It reminds you of the coffee you would find in a small coffee shop; a super flavorful, pleasant blend. It truly is one of the best single origins you can buy. Single origins typically do not have as much flavor as multi-origin blends, because the beans are all the same flavor. But Koffee Kult has made an exception. When brewing, I have found that using 1.5-2g extra coffee than you normally would for an 8oz serving results in the best flavor. It doesn’t over power you as a “strong” coffee, though. It just adds the perfect amount of flavor. This coffee is a great coffee for drinking any time; morning, noon or night, this flavor never gets old. I am on my fifth bag of this Columbia Hulia, and will stick with it. In conclusion, do, buy this coffee. You will have zero regrets. The flavor is extroidinary and complex. It is always fresh, and always here in 2 days. All of Koffee Kults coffees are great (I have had all of them), but the Columbian takes the cake!

Mamma Mia
This is the first time I ordered Koffee Kult. We mostly drink Cappuccino. We have an expensive fully automatic espresso machine. When I opened the Koffee Kult bag, I saw that the coffee beans looked slightly oily. I was concerned whether the beans could get stuck and roll down well in the built-in grinder. So far, no such problems. To be cautious, I move the beans slightly in the morning in the bean container. Not sure if this is necessary though. What can I say about the coffee quality? I used 3 different kinds of Lavazza and half a dozen other varieties in the past. I said to myself 'mamma mia" when I tasted the first cup of cappuccino I made with KK beans. After about 30 cups of cappuccino with Koffee Kult, I can say without hesitation that these are the best coffee beans I have ever used, especially the aroma. After making two cups of cappuccino in the morning, when I return home in the evening, I still have the smell in the house and I love it. Very pleasant smell indeed. My cappuccino tastes great. No bitterness. Smooth and somewhat sweet taste that is perfect for me. Honestly, I will stick with these coffee beans from now onward.

Coffee in our house is serious business and Koffee Kult didn't disappoint. This is one of the few coffees that ...
Very solid, medium-roast coffee. Coffee in our house is serious business and Koffee Kult didn't disappoint. This is one of the few coffees that both my wife and I can agree on. I prefer darker, bold coffee while she likes lighter/"blonde" roasts...but Koffee Kult Colombia Huila has been a perfect compromise for us. It's not light and watery, has plenty of flavor, and is never bitter. We've re-ordered several times so far and will continue to do so as long as the quality stays high. We grind it just before brewing in a Baratza Virtuoso and never have problems with it being overly oily. Grinds for drip, french press and Chemex pour-over have all been great. Are there better coffees out there? Yup. Is this a really good coffee that is also a great value? Definitely.

this is good stuff. I am a coffee snob
Goodness, this is good stuff. I am a coffee snob. Can't drink just anything. This stuff is good. Strong tase, as in flavorful. No bitterness, none of that "burnt" kind of taste to it. It's smooth, great flavor. Thick and enjoyable cup. Great aroma. I've only recently discovered Kult. I've ordered I think three different origins from them. Probably my favorite is their Zimbabwe. This stuff is good too. Restores my faith in Columbian coffee, which too often can be not to my liking, cuz many roasters like to burn their Columbian beans. Personal preference, but I don't like that. Some do; to each their own. Suffice it to say that if that's the flavor you like, look elsewhere. THIS roast preserves and showcases the flavor of a true Columbian bean very nicely. Will order again. And again.

Their coffee is good, but $18/lb
I ordered Coffee Bean Direct from Amazon in the past, but I've been spoiled by working next to a Philz Coffee. Unfortunately, the prices at Philz are going through the roof. Their coffee is good, but $18/lb? I'll gladly pay $3 for a ready made cup, given their expenses for rent and wages, but for coffee beans to use at home, I prefer to look elsewhere now. This stuff is a good alternative. It doesn't say exactly when it was roasted, but the coffee doesn't taste or smell stale to me. It's good quality product, and the seller clearly cares about helping you get the most out of it: they provide the best resealable packaging I've ever seen for coffee beans (to keep the beans from going stale due to oxidation). Also, the packaging has excellent advice printed on it, such as to use sufficiently hot water (as close as possible to 205ºF, but no hotter). I grind only as much as I use at a time, and use a Bunn BT that dumps very hot water quickly in an oversized basket so you don't overextract. The result is very tasty.

KAN'T SAY THIS WAS MY BEST KUP OF KOLOMBIAN KOFFEE
This was my second foray back into coffee and finding a good everyday brew. I dusted off my Mini Mazzer and gave it a major cleaning and adjusted the burr grinder for a grind that matched my coffee maker. Now I was ready for the coffee when it arrived, so I could give this coffee an honest try with no cross contamination worries from my grinder or my coffee maker. When the coffee arrived I wasted no time to open the bag to take in a "very pale/mild aroma" that was pretty disappointing I must say. I used their brewing instructions for measuring how much coffee to use. My first cup was just the coffee with nothing else added to color the flavor and to my surprise it was somewhat bitter and had very little taste. This coffee is what I would call a medium light roast in my very limited experience. The color of the brewed coffee was also on a he light amber side.I adjusted the amount of coffee up and down to try to find a sweet spot and did get a better less bitter cup of coffee. That is until my last two brews that went bitter? I purchased 2 of the large Coffee Gator storage containers to keep my coffee beans in a dark, dry and cool airtight space. As I stated above I'm not a Professor with a Phd in Coffee theory. I'm just a guy looking for a good coffee I have started my quest with coffee from Colombia as it is what I've drank for many years. I had much better results with another Colombian coffee, but I may give Koffee Kult another try with coffee from other regions.

Been sipping this for 5 years..Colombian Huila
I have had my ups and downs with this brand, mostly due to price. It used to be a lot cheaper, but as premium coffees are they are good and get attention and thusly the price hops up. Firstly let me say; if you’re using a Keurig or a machine brewer - this is a premium coffee, you’re not getting the full flavor. In all seriousness, you’re punishing your taste buds. I only drink this in a French press or as pour over, I stopped putting this through a machine when I brought some to my folks place, had it and realized wow the taste is ruined in the Keurig! Secondly; don’t drink it in a metal thermos/cup. Drink it out of glass. Get yourself a set of glass insulated mugs; you’ll thank me. Metal alters the flavor of coffee. Thirdly; buy whole beans, grind them minutes before brewing and consume within 60 minutes of the brew. I’m not trying to tell you how to make coffee, but trust me, this is the most efficient way and it will taste phenomenal. You spend the money on this delicious bean, get the most out of it! I’ve been sipping on Colombian Huila for 5 years so far and Koffee Kult has become my gateway into many peoples lives; I’ve shared this coffee with so many people that love it not only am I seen as the guy with the delicious coffee, but people request it for birthdays and holidays. It’s worth it, give it a shot, if you don’t like it - send it to me! Haha.

Great Columbian Coffee!
Great coffee, very good flavor with some aromatic qualities when ground & brewed. My CON is that I wish it were even MORE aromatic than it is. My old Columbia Del Oro (made by Caribou Coffee) was the most wonderfully aromatic EVER, but of course - (the original was supplanted & "altered" to a citrus-flavored version). The other Koffee Kult con is that for me, the bag is difficult to figure OUT how to open. I pulled the easy pull-tab, but was still faced with a plastic window on the resealable bag, framed by bag, all the way around it. I cut it (in desperation for fresh AM coffee) & now my bag will not zip shut. So, I did the wrong thing, since there were NO FURTHER instructions on HOW to open the bag (correctly). No "Cut Here" indention, or scissors symbol shown. I think you have to PULL the ziploc window OPEN. (TOUGH PULL!)
