This is like having a personal chef!!!
I've been cooking dinner for more than 50 years. I'm at the age where I don't like to try new recipes because it's too much mental strain on me to find a recipe, read through it, then follow it step by step. I never thought I'd say this, but it's too much work mentally, and it's too much physical strain to stand at a stove, so I stick to simple cooking at my age. Then I needed a new pressure cooker, came to Amazon to find one and came across this gem. It looked easy enough for me to understand, it was digital, and the reviews were great, so I took a chance and paid twice the amount I would have paid for a regular stove top pressure cooker pan that only is used to pressure cook. I'm glad I took the chance!!! This Chef iQ is like having your own personal chef standing next to you telling you step by step how to make amazing meals! It has made cooking fun and easy again! The app has many different recipes, including beef and barley soup which I have been wanting to make for years but have no desire to stand at a stove cooking...now I can have my Chef iQ tell me step by step what to add, and the best part is thr scale. It weighs the amount of water you put in, it weighs the meat (no more digging through the garbage to see if it was 2 pounds roast or a 3 pound roast) it weighs it for you! A dinner that would have taken me hours, and dirtied many dishes and pans, is now made in one pot and it does everything for you! It took 30 minutes to pressure cook 5 pounds of roast. When it was done I pulled it apart some of them and added some BBQ sauce and we had pulled beef sandwiches, then saved the rest for dinner, again using the insta pot to steam veggies to add to the beef to make a stew. It took less than an hour to make 2 meals! Washing the unit is simple, just make sure you remove the gasket ring and wash under it, then replace it. This unit has made 2 elderly people become instant chefs! My husband can't stand for long and for years had to give up making his famous rice and beans. I came back from walking the dog to find a plate of freshly made rice and beans waiting for me, and a husband with a smile so big because he was able to cook again! This pot gave us more than easy and amazing meals, it gave us back the pride and confidence that we can once again make difficult recipes that used to require standing at the stove all day and using and washing many pans, it's given us more time together and has truly made life easier for both of us! I highly recommend this product for everyone! It would have been amazing to have this unit when I was in college, to be able to cook full meals in one pot without knowing how to cook would have been so great as a college student living in a dorm! This makes a great wedding gift, housewarming gift, college student gift, and just a great gift for everyone you love and want to make their life easier!

Greatest oven I have ever owned!
I used this for the first time last night making some chicken parmesan. Came out to perfection! Using the Chef IQ wireless probe (sold separately) which connects to the oven, made come out to perfection. This comes with an egg tray. Used it to make eggs for the family and they came out perfect. Made toast also. Clean up was a breeze. The pans are nonstick so I took a chance and used no butter or oil. Nothing stuck to them. Healthy way of cooking I guess. With the touchscreen it takes the guess work out of cooking. I would also get the Chef IQ wireless temperature probe (sold separately) which automatically pairs with the oven. This oven is definitely a game changer. If you’re not a great cook, you will be after using this oven. There are so many options no matter weather it’s chicken, beef or fish. It will come out to perfection. It your looking for a fantastic oven that does an awesome job and doesn’t take up a lot of countertop space, then the Chef IQ Mini Oven is definitely the one to get. It’s a do all oven. Air fryer, bake, broiler, slow cooker, etc. we are a family of four and this does more then enough. Cooks fast. I would definitely recommend getting this. Well worth the money. Works fantastic!

Just buy it
I’ve had this pressure cooker for about a year and it is amazing. My favorite features are: Automatic steam release. Who hasn’t been shy about releasing pressure from a cooker? The sound alone used to make me jump, even if I knew it was not going to burn me because the valve was pointed in the opposite direction. Now I just sit in the living room and listen for the appliance to release in the manner I asked it to. Ahhhhh. It does instant, intermittent and natural releases. Truly my favorite feature. Step by step instructions. Now, I don’t really need these, but it is so much fun to choose a recipe and have the app tell you what to do. Need to add a cup of water? Sure, you can add a cup of water after measuring it. But it’s so cool to see the scale tell you EXACTLY when you’ve added the right amount. I can imagine a person who has never cooked anything would love the step by step instructions even more than I do. Next, I love the app. “When will dinner be ready?” Um…. (Open app) “13 minutes and 11 seconds.” I’ll bet you can’t be that precise unless you’re using this awesome app! By the way, even if you aren’t using the pre-programmed recipes, the app still shows you what’s going on and allows you to make changes. I love being able to do almost everything in one pan. Want spaghetti? Brown the meat, sauté the vegetables, add the dry pasta and water, and it’s ready in literally a few minutes. One pot. There is no guesswork in timing. Tonight I selected sous vide, pork, pork chops, one in thick. It set the temp and time automatically and automatically selected sear when finished. This works for whatever feature and ingredient you are cooking. Sooooo many cook functions. Slow cooker, pressure cooker, sous vide, sauté, and the list goes on and on. The only feature that I wish was better is on the app. I wish there were two ways you could save recipes. Right now you can click the heart on a recipe to mark it as a favorite. I would like to see a way to add a folder for “want to try” or something similar. I look at recipes in the app and don’t know yet if they will be a favorite but definitely am interested in trying them. They all get lumped together in one folder which can be inconvenient if you use the cooker and app as much as I do. I did send a request to the company but I don’t know if it’s scheduled for an update in the future or not. I hope this helps if you’re trying to justify the investment. There is a little bit of a learning curve, but if you use a tablet or smart anything I don’t think you’ll have a problem. Bottom line? Just buy it!

Amazed at this product
This is probably my longest amazon review but you should absolutely buy this product. This product has been a major game changer for me. The amount of different functions that this product has is amazing. I used to order out after I got home but this product has allowed me to make healthy delicious food with ease and dependability. The product is well engineered and does exactly what you ask it to do. I have heard of sous vide, but I always thought it required pricy hardware and something else I would have to store but this product does it and does it well, from what I can tell. Perfectly tender medium rare steaks and the best part is it asks you if you want to sear the food in the cooker. Yes this product will sous vide and sear your sous vide food. Not only that it is a great slow cooker and steamer. I love salmon but I always would pan cook it and add a sauce to it. This device steams precisely and makes flaky tender salmon that only needs to be lightly seasoned. Not only do they offer the device, it is also app controlled. You do need the app to set it up but it is completely usable from the device after initial setup. However, you are going to want the app that they offer. It has recipes that they continuously update. They provide recipes and automatically configure the device to cook the desired product. Not only that it has settings that will recommend cooking methods and times. You simply enter your food and it has individual vegetables, meats and fruits you can select from, then enter either a weight or thickness, quantity and whether it is frozen or fresh and the app will recommend a cooking method and time. The only issue, and the reason it is at the end, is that some times the cooking times are off. THIS IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE DEVICE. To calculate the precise cooking time of foods is very arduous. Frozen means less than 32F but it could be 10F, or 32F or -5F, frozen is incredibly ambiguous same with fresh. For meats this means refrigerated with is generally referred to between 32F and 40F but still there are many differences in temperature. The device lets you add a few minutes. So if it is down to 2 or 3 minutes just check your temp. If it needs a few more minutes, select the time and add a few more. That is the only issue I have had and that does not deter me from using or recommending this product. This has to have been one of the best purchases I have ever made, I am amazed at this product and highly recommend you try it for yourself.

Huge letdown after owning a June oven
Was shocked at how small this was. I am replacing my 2nd generation June oven which I love, and which still works fine and looks new, because that one is like 7 or 8 years old now. They fail, and not many gen 2's that I know are still going, so this was the one I selected to buy while it was on a good sale, so I could swap out my June oven before it broke and I'd have to buy whatever was available. I knew it was smaller but it's shocking, visually, just HOW MUCH smaller it is. Fortunately it comes with its own pans since the June ones wouldn't fit. Not pleased with the huge blocks of Styrofoam. And how, even with the IQ oven secured INSIDE of a plastic bag, did a bunch of small Styrofoam bits get stuck all over it, including on the venting on the side. I vacuumed out what I could but I'm sure there's a bit still in there that I'm going to smell when I fire it up the first time. And the tape they used to hold the door open in four different spots left a good bit of itself on the glass front, and needed to be cleaned off. At least the tape was sticky enough to pull its own leftover pieces off by simply pressing it on them and pulling away multiple times. Even had bits of Styrofoam INSIDE the door? If it wasn't so clean otherwise I'd assume this had been a return they sold as new. Setup was quick and easy, the display gives a QR code to get the app on the phone. Then pairing was simple and quick, and a firmware update prompted when done. After that, I was set to try it out. Wasn't going to cook anything yet, but wanted to see how it did getting to temp. One reason I got it before my June died is that it bragged about being faster to get to temp. So I turned it on, set it to 350, and was disappointed in the fan noise. This thing is annoyingly loud for such a little thing. And it's not just during certain parts - it was on and loud the entire time. The smell - maybe there were still pieces of Styrofoam inside, or it may have been the common thing of protective coatings and such burning off, but this thing had a nasty smell while I simply let it get up to 350 degrees before I turned it back off again. My Dyson and Levoit air purifiers had a field day clearing out the smell and the pollutants. Fortunately there were only certain things I used the June oven for, so I won't have to listen to this annoyingly loud fan very often. I also ordered the wireless thermometer, although I have three others already. I wanted the branded one so that it can actually be recognized by the oven and help it adjust cooking appropriately. Chicken breasts, French bread pizza, and frozen fries are what I mostly used the June for. I can see I'll have to do smaller batches of fries, since this is not big enough for what I'm used to, a 12x16 pan. I guess if I have to do something larger than the small 9x13 pan it comes with, I can just use my normal oven. What is going to hurt is I won't be able to fit four French bread pizzas in here at once, due to the narrowness. Even in the June's 16" wide pan I was pretty much right near the edges. I knew the smaller size going into this, so I had accepted that fact already when I added it to my cart. The door - At first I was worried something was still taped shut, but then I remembered the slow close feature, and apparently that's a slow open feature as well. I do like this though, having it never slam no matter when I let go of the handle. And the view is fine, although my June had a great view inside as well. But one place this will excel is cleaning - June ovens are notorious for being a pain, due to the elements they use. VERY fragile, and easy to break. The pull out sliding rack is nicely deigned, but ultimately not necessary, especially with the smaller size pans this uses. It's easier to pick up the try from the standard non sliding rack than it is to pull it out and then lift off the tray. About the only thing I could see this being useful for is if you have something that needs to be flipped half way through or something - this WOULD make that easier then. The air fryer rack is ridiculously shallow. I don't air fry things though so not a big deal for me. The non stick pans are handy. I'm really curious to test this out as I've never baked eggs before, and I'd like to see how the various egg recipes turn out. So I set up the guided cook option, selected eggs. I kind of scrambled them in the pan with a dull plastic object since I only do over easy if I have toast to use for the yolk, and figured I would mix it up a bit in each of the four spots I put eggs in, and set it to over hard so it was a bit like an omelet or something. Again, even with this setting the fan on low, it's annoyingly loud. And I got my first lesson - don't insert food until it tells you to. So I kept an eye on them and pulled them out early to compensate for the extra cook time they had. And it was pretty gross as far as texture went. Like a hardened skin over soft eggs. Tried it again later that morning with the default setting for over easy but I still broke my yolks. And again, that same weird almost skin on them. Yeah, will never be using this oven for eggs. At least the more I use it the more that gross smell from whatever protective spray that is baking off is fading. Another annoyance - when you're done, it apparently requires you to press the HOME button - the other options are "keep backing" or "keep warm." If you just pull out the food and don't TELL it to keep warm or keep baking, you'd expect it would KNOW this, and simply turn off. Nope, it keeps that question on the screen and the interior light on regardless, until you manually press the home button again. Seriously, this is a product with "IQ" in the name? I like the guided LED's for which level a rack should be inserted when you're following its instructions. I also like that it can be set for a 24 hour clock. Bottom line is there is so much that just is subpar on this thing that I'm glad I got it on sale. Had I paid full price, I would have felt taken advantage of and returned it. For me, since I only used my June for a few specific things, and I can at least make do with this, I'll keep it. Made fries. Noted my phone has given me NO notifications - yet all notifications are enabled for the Chef IQ app. And midway though I opened the app to see if it would help - and now the oven shows offline, not connected, yet every single other item in the kitchen is connected just fine - Anova, stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, plugs for other things like game controller chargers... But this oven is conveniently offline while cooking without any warning on the unit when I set up the cook. Fries turned out good though. And subsequent nights when I tried to use this for things - at least those times it was online. But unless the app was open, no notifications. June would send notifications whether or not the app was open. Again, a disappointment for something with IQ in its name. Every time I turn around it shows me that it's not very smart. The programmed chicken breast setting - it tries to stop cooking when the chicken only hit 138 degrees? Seriously? So I had to override it and keep it cooking. I'm glad I had the wireless thermometer in there. I had to extend it another 5 minutes to get the internal temp to a safe temp. If this is how pointless the temps are, why bother making a thermometer that can pair with the oven when it ignores safe food temp guidelines? And after a week, still not a SINGLE notification despite the app having asked to allow notifications when installed, and me verifying notifications are still enabled on my iPhone. So between this and their wireless thermometer, I definitely overpaid for something that just isn't nearly as good as the June oven it was replacing. But it will at least suffice for the little bit of things I use it for. But I could have had the same functionality from another product at a quarter of the price.

Good food .... FAST!
Works great, easy to use. My only complaint is that the app is a bit clunky and not intuitive to use. I've made 4 meals in it so far, and they all came out excellent.

Absolutely kitchen necessity! Also get the matching probe!
I've been using the minioven for each of meals since I got it and it has amazed me every meal! Everything about this product screams quality from the responsive touch screen to the pull out racks the only thing I wish I did sooner was season the air frying rack. The heat output in this unit is very stable and powerful with quick heat up that wont disappoint and the air broil is amazing especially for finishing chicken parm.
