Akira Miki Power Grip Chisel 3MM

I wanted small tools for delicate carving and thought I would try this one. I am totally happy - it's super sharp, sharpens well, feels good to the hand and cuts nicely on walnut, baked Fimo, and tagua nuts. I am pleased with it enough that I have been buying others in different sizes, and I have been happy with every one I have gotten! The price alone is a good selling point, but I am pleased with the tool.

I own nine of these "Powergrip" carving chisels now, and a tenth is scheduled to arrive today. You aren't going to get any better quality for the price, anywhere. They come as sharp as a Samurai sword, and a few stokes on a leather strop will keep them that way. They will cut through rock-hard maple like it was butter. They will carve tiny intricate detail in basswood without crushing the wood. They represent, in my opinion, the finest Japanese craftsmanship in steel blades, and that's a flat statement.

Just received this item and it was a used or returned item with paint on it, chipped and dull blade. Won't return it because it'll just cost me more than what the item is worth.

Great knife nice and sharp
