I'll tell you what, I bought this chair 4 years ago and yes, many of the one star reviews are true, the chair does rip apart, it does get slightly uncomfortable, it does have little ergonomic features, it's casters aren't great, and it doesn't have lumbar support. But believe me when I tell ya it can take a beating. I put this chair into the deepest pits of hell and it held up for 4 years. I literally laid on my back in this chair some days, criss cross applesauce religiously, lifted myself up on the arms (I weigh 180), did this chair so dirty and ask me how it broke. Since I sat criss cross applesauce it pushed out the arms overtime and eventually came loose on the bracket that holds the arm to the back. 4 YEARS OF CRISS CROSS APPLESAUCE AND IT JUST NOW FAILED. Ill tell ya what, I didn't rarely use this chair either, I'm a degenerate, many 14 hour days in this chair. Get a seat cushion and lumbar support and live with the rip, if you don't abuse it like I did than it'll last you forever. I bought a furmax at a similar price point before this and with the way I abused it I swear to you it broke in less than a month, if you don't believe me you can look at my review on it 4 years ago lol. I bought this one cause I like to lean back and the arms being connected to the back gave it good support. Seriously guys, if you can make it work and just want to buy a cheap chair to get ya by this is the way to go. It isn't a five star chair because of what I mentioned earlier but it isn't a one star chair forsure. Edit: It is a five star chair, they've updated the design from having internals made out of wood to being a full metal frame. This means that the way my previous chair broke will not happen again, extending its durability. If you want a chair that can take a beating at this price point then I truly think your getting a chair well worth your money. Because of this im updating my review to 5 stars.

I recently got this office chair for my desk, and so far I’m really happy with it. It’s comfortable enough to sit in for long stretches — supportive without feeling stiff — which makes my work sessions more enjoyable. First - if you buy it, the hardware, legs, etc are inside the back cushion - so if you open it and looks like things are missing - probably there - efficient packing. The leads to the weirdest part - the back cushion is hollow - I've put together many such chairs, I've never had one with a hollow back rest - so I do have concern about how well the comfort will hold up over time. The seat cushion seems normal and solid. In theory, you could stuff the back rest if you wanted to . First chair I've ever seen not be foam or something inside. Size - I don't think this is a good chair for an adult male - probably better for women and kids. Assembly - normal - not hard, not the easiest but definitely not the hardest to assemble. If you've done a chair before, this should be no problem. Instructions are fair, sure the font size should have been bigger, but it's ok. Pleather - normal fake leather you see. It's not as nice as that on the more expensive chairs, but it doesn't seem bad. For the price ~$90, I'll give 4 stars - long term back cushion concerns and not a chair for an adult male.

I love this chair. I've used it since March 2023, and it just feels very comfortable using it for several hours a day. I'm 5'5" and my back aligns nearly to the height of the mid-back of the chair, which I find very supportive. The padding is solid. Breathability is on the low side because it's not mesh, but I prefer a more padded chair like this one. This is just right for me. Price is just excellent, great value in this chair. I think my only complaint is that over time it gets a little squeaky to rock back and forth and move side to side in it, but really a minor problem cause I only do that very seldom. I did use some silicone based lubricant and that helped for about a month and then the squeaks came back. I just live with it since it's so irrelevant to the purpose of the chair.

The assembly is easy, but it does take 30-45 minutes. The hardest part is aligning the back to the arm, which is easier if you don't tighten any of the armrest screws until they are all in place. I too was worried about the back being hollow, so I took another reviewer's advice and put a smaller Harbor Freight blanket folded to size in there. It provided extra padding and you can't tell once it's zipped up. This isn't the only chair that ships with the parts in the back cushion (no padding), so it wasn't a deal-breaker for me, but I would probably avoid it in the future. It does feel like you are sitting forward/more upright than what is normal, but that could be because my old chair was too far back and I just got used to it. I'll have to wait and see if I get used to it, but it is probably better for my back since it forces me to sit upright, although not as comfortable. The cushion is padded enough, but you still kind of bottom out on it, but not so much that it's hard on your backside. Let's face it, I bought it because it was cheap, and you get what you pay for. If you really want a super soft chair with all the adjustments, it's going to cost you $250 and up. This chair looks nice, is sturdy enough and doesn't creak like my old chair did, but I don't expect it to last more than 5 years before the covering starts to wear and it starts falling apart. I'm 6'2"/230 lbs and it works, but isn't the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in (not the worst either). It's going to feel different for different people, so you can't judge by one review whether this is the chair for you. The quality and looks are okay, but since I'm going to be in this for 8 hours a day, I don't love the comfort. Maybe I'm just used to my old chair and will get used to it in time, but it's average overall, so I give it 3 stars. I think it's better for shorter/lighter people. As far as the reviews with broken lifts or ripped cushions, either they were too heavy for the chair or they got a bad one shipped to them...I wouldn't worry about that too much. My average review is mostly because of the comfort and lack of adjustments. In hindsight, I'd probably pay more for a chair that allows me to adjust the angle of the back to the seat instead of this 'one size fits all' approach.

This replaced a second hand desk chair which was losing all of it's adjustability options. And though the seat back holder was metal, it was starting to crack, and had me leaning back more and more, so I had to get a new chair. Which brought me to this chair for my home computer desk... Not as many adjustment options on this one (just the raise/lower and the slight recline lock on/off), but I wasn't expecting that on this budget-minded chair. At least the maximum pitch of the recline option is on par with your average airline seat, which is far better than my older, rickety chair. The entire chair is upholstered in a easy-to-clean leather-like fabric (no mesh anywhere), which I believe will survive scratching cats than meshy fabrics. The back support is comfy-sturdy, but has an accessible inner cavity (more on this later) and the seat is also cushioned well. The legs and the base are all metal, including the five leg coverings. The plastic sections that shroud the pneumatic lift are flimsier plastic sheaths. The armrests are non-adjustable and a bit shoter than my old chair. Minimal softer plastic-like cushioning on the armrests, but I'm fine with that. My only real issue about this chair is the cheap plastic armrest caps which cover the bolt assemblies between the armrests and the seats and seat backs -- they randomly pop off -- but it shouldn't be an issue unless you are anal about the cosmetic look about the chair. Assembly was fairly easy, with all the tools, nuts, bolts and screws were all grouped and labled in a sturdy "blister pack" (think OTC cold capsule packaging at the drug store). *** ABOUT THE BACKREST CAVITY -- NOTE *** This is where Amazon Basics saves packaging space. Your delivery box may look a bit on the smaller side. Don't worry! Much of the chair assembly (legs, tools, caps,etc...) is stored INSIDE the backrest during shipping. All you need to do is to unzip the contents from that cavity and voila! Everything is there. There should be red ribbons and/or strips RED tape to remind you the essentials are zipped up in the cavity. Once everything is out of the inside of the backrest, you theoretically can add more cushioning, back massager or similar -- although I haven't needed to do it yet. 4 stars due to the flimsy plastic caps and lift sheaths. But again, that is just cosmetic stuff and not durability issues.

Let me save you the time, money, and lower-back regret: do not buy this chair. After living with this chair for 18 months, I can confidently say that calling it “basic” is generous. This thing is a slow-motion ergonomic tragedy. I'm not even a heavy user...this chair sits at a home desk, not a call center and yet it’s falling apart like a toddler’s Lego tower. Comfort: For the first week or two, the chair is passably comfortable. Then the padding compresses, the seat flattens like a pancake at a truck stop diner, and every hour feels like you're being punished for a crime you didn’t commit. The back support? Non-existent. I’d get more lumbar support leaning against a wall. Sitting in this chair for more than an hour at a time feels like penance and no amount of adjusting will save you. Adjustability: Sure, it adjusts up and down. That’s about where the good news ends. The tilt mechanism is laughable — either it’s locked upright like a church pew, or it reclines with all the grace and stability of a shopping cart with a broken wheel. The tension knob? Final Verdict: If you're looking for a short-term chair for a rental office you never plan to return to, or maybe need to furnish the background of a Zoom call, maybe this will do. But if you actually plan to sit in it regularly? Don’t do it. You’re better off buying a decent secondhand chair on Craigslist. Or honestly, sitting on a milk crate. This chair is a monument to the bare minimum. It’s uncomfortable, poorly built, aging faster than unrefrigerated mayonnaise and destined for the landfill before its second birthday. 1/5 stars. Would give zero if I could.

He tenido varios muebles de oficina de este tipo, incluso de la marca Herman Miller y, esta posee para mi gusto la mejor relación Costo-Beneficio. La recomiendo ampliamente.

Pros: Arrived a day early. Instructions are pictures, but clear and easy to understand. Decent price. Nice, soft material that's easy to clean. Lightweight and rolls easily. I'm 5'6" and it fits great in the seat, armrests and height. Top of the backrest comes just to the top of my shoulder. Good back support. Good cushioning in the seat and back with a bit of lumbar support. Cons: not much of a tilt feature and it doesn't lock the tilt. The seat slopes down a bit too much for me, so my knees are a bit lower than I'd like. There was a slight mark on the back support, like some glue had been wiped off during manufacturing. Assembly was fine except for screwing the armrests to the seat and back. I have a wounded and weak right hand so eventually I needed help to hold tension on the parts long enough to screw the bolts into the holes. Took almost an hour, would have been much longer by myself. Really hard to see the pilot holes to get those 8 bolts in (the others were fine).

Es la primera silla que compro de este estilo, se ve muy bonita, pero tengo la impresión que no durará mucho, el respaldo es hueco y tiene como un estilo cintas bien engrapadas que son las que dan el soporte, la parte donde uno se sienta es comoda, pero se siente corta a las piernas, de momento he visto que se salen los tapones de los tornillos de los descansa brazos, en general bien, pero la calidad regular buena, falta ver que tanto dura. Creo que por el precio podría tener mejor soporte.
