I use my iPad primarily for note-taking at school, and I found it annoying and difficult to take notes on a slippery screen. I ended up buying one of these "paper-like" feel screens and find it much easier to write my notes! It works perfectly, and does exactly as intended. There is zero glare, but it does slightly reduce the quality of your screen but I guess that's to be expected when you buy a matte screen protector. I did notice prior to having this matte screen protector, I used apply a lot of pressure when writing and I no longer do that. However, there are a couple downsides I have when it comes to this product. This isn't an actual screen protector, merely a layer to help mimic the feeling of writing on paper, so keep in mind that this will not provide any protection to your glass screen in the event it cracks. I didn't like having to take off my glass screen protector to replace it with this matte screen, so if you prefer protection over feel, then I suggest buying a magnetic paper-feel screen protector that goes over your glass screen protector (and this same company does sell one!). Despite it advertising having an easy application, I found that I had the exact opposite experience. Putting this on was such a pain, and the QR code they have on the paper instructions doesn't even have a working link. The written instructions do suffice, but if you're a visual learner it's a bit of an inconvenience. When pulling the protector over and looping it onto the peg, there was a lot of tension and the screen protector ended up lifting whenever I tried smoothing it out. I ended up having to lift the screen protector and readjusting it a couple of times and stopped following the instructions so I could get it aligned and all the air bubbles out. I took off the shiny top later that initially covers the front of the screen protector so I could clearly see the bubbles and push them out. Taking out the air bubbles were easier though, and after it was fully applied it takes a bit of give to attempting to lift up the screen protector. Other than the issues I had with application, I rate this a solid 4/5 stars. I personally wouldn't buy this again if I decided to get another iPad and would instead get their magnetic paper-like screen protectors so I could take it off whenever I didn't need to use it.

Feels really good on iPad, completely changed how it feels to write on it. Applying it was a little annoying, left a lot of bubbles but you can smear all if not almost all of them out with the tool provided. Overall good product, would buy again.

There is like a 1mm gap between the edge of the device and the screen protector on my iPad Air 4. It catches on the edge and causes the screen to peel off. Going to have to shave down the case and put tape on the lip to keep it on.

If you’re looking for a real paper feel for writing on your iPad, look no further! I love how satisfying it feels and it instantly made my iPad more usable for journaling and writing in my planner. Installation was really great - no air bubbles!

Pros: The application was simple, and I had a couple of bubbles but used the tool included to get rid of them. The feel of this screen protector is great, feels exactly like paper! I also like that there are 2 protectors included, so I have a backup if needed. I haven’t noticed any Apple Pencil tip damage, which was my biggest worry when I decided to try the paper screen protectors. Responsiveness of the Pencil is also exactly the same as my old tempered glass protector. Cons: anti-glare is poor, and fingerprints are very visible. It doesn’t actually state in the product description that it is smudge-proof so there is no false advertising, but something to consider if that is important to you. It is also very thin, so it doesn’t provide as much protection as a tempered glass protector in case of a fall. Screen quality is also decreased but that is the case with all matte screen protectors, so I can’t fault this specific product for that. As a med student, this product serves its purpose of making my iPad feel like a notebook. And I have not had any nib damage so far, which is the only thing I really care about. I won’t be replacing this one, but if I could go back I would probably order a tempered glass paper-like screen protector to get the added benefit of protection. And considering there are other protectors that have better smudge reduction, I would also look for one that specifically states it is smudge-proof.

I recently purchased the ESR 2 Pack Paperlike Screen Protector for my iPad Pro 11-inch, and so far, I'm impressed. I am writing this review and I am very happy with my purchase, frankly I dont know why there is are such reviews as: expensive 🤔 although a pack of 2 protective costs 50 AED (about 13 $ = 6 $ for one) , reviews like, green protection 🤔 it is clear , the protective film is green, but you peel it off and throw it The installation was super easy , it took me 2 minutes I searched the internet for a similar product, and was a little thinking about if it costs not high then the quality could be low, I searched for Spigen (which costs about 50$) Paper-like (costs 70$) and I never been so satisfied with my ESR , because I bout before a wireless MagSafe charger and Car mount, the quality is so high so that I was sure that the quality of this protective film should be great, but the reviews was so misleading, because the installation instructions was super super easy, I didn’t had to clean my iPad Air 5 th generation because I left it in protection film so that I don’t have to clean dust particles, so I just used the sticker dust remover, used the barcode link to watch the two minutes video that is explaining how to install right, then the accuracy was superb, (and as a person I am very assessed about millimeters and about asymmetry) but the shifts from borders of screen was so great equally and parallel and symmetrical I give highest points (Also got originally an extended 2 years warranty from ESR - who would give that for a product that costs not too much)
