Better than the multi-ports that take a USB and other plug ins. A a professional presenter, I always use one of these to insure my connection.

The adapter itself works perfectly, as expected, and appears much better made than the generic ones. The packaging, on the other hand, led me to think I had received the wrong item. A huge sticker on the front says "Video" (which to me implied no audio) and the text on the back says "1080p" (while a tiny logo on the front says 4k). Bottom line, Belkin engineers did an excellent job, but their graphic designers phoned it in. I use it for work presentations and at home to play PSNow games on the big living room TV. Previously had a generic adapter cable from Amazon that cost around half as much, and just the movement of carrying it around in my laptop bag caused it to stop working. This one seems far more solid, with molded connections and sturdier cable. Much more confident in it, and at the price difference it's well worth the peace of mind. I have other Belkin adapters and tech products that have been working for decades, even when tossed around/stored carelessly in between uses.

Even when I first got it, the screen would go in and out. Then, it got to the point where it was basically unusable because it would disconnect so much

This adapter allowed my laptop with HDMI and Mini Display ports to connect to two monitor. Now I can run an extended desktop on two screens. Worked like a charm!

I Bought this because a Doctor recommending the Lenovo laptop I was buying said it provided a function that the Lenovo lacked. I still don't know what it is but I haven't missed whatever function it makes functional. Not a nerd

2nd one of these I’ve bought. The other one was hard worked and performed flawlessly for nearly 9 years. Worth paying the higher price to be sure it will connect every time.

I have many Belkin products, and this adapter/connector is in line with Belkin’s usual quality. It works, and it is built in a quality fashion, so expect it will remain functional for a long time. Although a little more expensive than other options, you always know what you’re going to get with a Belkin product. Pay once - and have something that is going to work for a long time. To me, the slightly “premium” price is worth it.

Loved this product. The unit is reliable, extremely well put together and of a good quality. It's more expensive than some of the products that share the stream, but it's well worth it. In fact, I bought another affair that has high ratings but was less expensive but the unit malfunctioned. With the Belkin, rest assured your money (and the image quality) are safe
