Coloriages mystères Disney - Portraits (trompe l'oeil)

Correction: this book is MEANT to look like this. When reading all the other reviews it looks like I wasn’t the only one who thought this! This is a “mystery” pages book. So when you glance at the photo, it’s meant to look like another character or scene, but once you actually color it, the photo comes to life and it is the correct photo that is referenced in the back pages! I wanted to clarify for anyone else who was confused as I was! I just received this book and have been working on unbinding it and placing it into a notebook. I have noticed that the images and page numbers are all WRONG as well as the color codes on the bottom. For example, in the back, page 29 is Sebastian. When you turn to that page, it’s an image of stitch from page 30. The color codes are also switched. Do not go off of the color codes in this book because they do not match! I took photos for reference. The only reason I noticed was because Sebastian should have red on his color code and there is no red under his photo. There are multiple pages like this. I would return it for a refund if I hadn’t already unbound it

Mystery coloring is the new thing and I am loving it so much. These books are expensive, but there isn't any others like it so it's worth the price. I got the plastic covers for them, too from Amazon and they work great.

Great Coloring book

If you’re looking for a coloring book that makes you feel both wildly artistic and slightly judged by perfectly drawn Disney royalty, this is the one. The Disney Portraits Coloring Book is basically a stack of glamorous headshots of characters who look infinitely better than I ever will—yet somehow it’s still soothing. Every page feels like I’ve been hired as an elite stylist for Mickey’s social circle. Coloring Belle’s hair? Therapeutic. Accidentally giving Elsa neon-pink eyebrows? Chaos, but fun chaos. The paper quality is thick enough to survive my “just one more shade” marker attacks, and the designs are detailed enough to make me feel fancy without requiring a magnifying glass and a prayer. This book has officially become my go-to stress reliever. Highly recommend for kids, adults, and anyone who enjoys making beloved characters accidentally look like they went through a glitter tornado.

I enjoy the pictures but make sure you get a decent pair of acrylic markers maybe something with a brush tip or something you don’t have to push down I’m sure it could be great with colour pencils but I think if you want something the picture opaque do your layer, let it dry and then apply new layers and let them dry until satisfied. I wish there was an index with colour suggestions rather than the dots at the bottom because sometimes the colours listed below don’t necessarily tie to the final reveal picture in the back, but still a fun way to colour without having to put too much thought into it. Very relaxing. I will say there is some printing issues with numbers being too light or looking too similar 2 vs. Z 5 and 6, 8,9, 4 and A were some of the characters that were difficult to read at times

Loved it !! Very fun and good paper quality

I own a few of these mystery colouring books now and I have to say they are all fantastic. I assume this one has more 1 star reviews than the others because admittedly it is slightly different to the other ones as the outline of the picture is NOT the same one that you end up completing. It might look like you're about to fill in snow white eating an apple but you're probably not. I have noticed an error in printing however as there is a whole page of solutions missing from the back and the images are repeated. But all in all, I do really like this book. They are relatively simple but look amazing once finished.

Pages are not in order. Colour codes are wrong for some pictures. The pages of the drawings do not correspond to the drawings at the end. Very disappointed.
