Book is very useful I found what i was looking for and was able to fix the problem i was having.

Great manual received on a timely basis and at a competitive price. This manual has served me well in mechanically serving my 5.0L Mercruiser Alpha I. Could be just a little more specific on the electrical side of my specific engine.

Only covers V8 and 6 cylinder engens. Vary good specs and pictures for maintaining your outdrive unit.

This has Everything you need to know. Like Chapman’s this is The Bible, too.

superficial coverage of a WIDE RANGE of boat engines! I would use this along with the specific manufacturer's engine/stern drive repair manual. This book provides better pictures than the Mercruiser manual whereas the Mercruiser stern drive manual goes into greater detail.

This book makes a better paper weight then resource tool. The books goes into great depth on how to completely rebuild every engine available as a Mercrusier Stern Drive combo but only gives one graphic on how to change a sea pump. So it is too specific for the things 90% of people will never do and not specific enough for common tasks. Save your money.

Nice manual, but the the factory manual is better.Some of the subjects jump around in the chapter and there is no clear reference to the illustrations in some areas.I had to do a bit of google searches and watching videos to really figure out what to do.This manual did have the correct info, just isn't clear.
