Yes, but over time as it will encourage earthworms and adding in some organic matter will also help draw material and nutrients into the clay soil and over a period of 3 years it can go as deep as 1m, helping drainage and making soil a lot lighter and biologically very active

There is no peat because this is not ”soil” as such. It is a conditionner and adds ”goodness” (fertiliser) to the soil you already have. It is not a growing medium as such. You add it to your soil to improve and feed it.

Will this help break up clay soil that's really hard and set?
